lets not just completely him he doesn't get all the perks he should get as his rank he's basically still a mod just different title. If you want to bash people bash the rule makers.
Or we could use our head and bash the Moderator not doing his job correctly as its common sense to delete spambot threads.
I've always deleted and archived spambot threads on SB...it's what I was told to do since day 1, and what I tell others to do. Use the thread for evidence if the user appeals, which would most likely never happen considering it's not a human being? Even in the extremely rare situation that would happen, last I checked it was a forum mod permission to undelete threads if so needed...unless you don't have that here.
The best part about his ridiculous idea of "Evidence" is when the server gets spambotted we ban the accounts for "spambot" and are not required to have evidence, for the obvious reason of having to ban hundreds of accounts so quickly. So how many spambots have ever appealed you ask? NONE. I've banned hundreds from spambot attacks ingame. Even more on forums, and never one. Also just like SB we always deleted the thread. This has only started the last couple days. I asked what had changed and got no answer beyond the obvious "click the link and it's on you" which is obviously not a reason. Lmao
I don't see any reason to leave spam bot threads up for everyone to see. Pretty sure 99.9% no one will even click on the links. I've always deleted spam bot threads when I see one, I'll make sure the moderators delete spam bot threads from now on. I never knew they left it visible for everyone to see. O_o
I thought it was strange. They always did delete it and then one day it changed and they stopped. Thanks for the response Cyp.
I don't think anything can be done about the spam threads being made in the first place. The best thing to do is to just keep on banning and locking. As for the recent rise in spam threads, it's probably just coincidence.
