I agree for youtube it should be about 15-20k subs atleast and for say a streamer is should be around the same 15-20k followers or subs on stream. Overall I really think that a youtube or stream rank would be a good tool to get people recording and advertising the server.
Suggested way too many times, and the answer always seems to be a no. Even if we have one big YT/Streamer, doesn't mean we'll have all that fame, sure we get the Zek and deadlox from time to time, but it just doesn't grow on trees. Maybe in the long run we'll add it, but it won't come back anytime soon.
Guys the biggest youtuber on mineverse is @MissPVP with 900 subscribers. I don't thank 15k is relevant but then again i think 5-10k would be a good thing to get the Youtuber Rank.
But then again will they make it as overpowered as Titan or even more overpowered? I think the youtuber rank should get all the Privileges of Titan (With a Youtuber Title unless they do /nick) and maybe /v or /nick so no one can harass them.
As someone who has created a numerous amount of content on the Mineverse server, I would say /v would be a bit extreme. What I get, although some(lots) rude, the comments people make to your face is what really the most important; I would not say letting people have the right to constructively criticize someone else is harassment. Ill be real here, no one with 40k subscribers will play on Mineverse. From what I've seen from the less popular (yet still popular community, 5-10k) community is they all have their own server. Anyone with 40k subs will honestly have their own server that they will be worried and occupied with. Such a high amount of subscribers is quite a stretch for a server that is decently sized (yet still on the smaller side) . Before we go ahead and have very high expectations for what we want a YouTube rank to be, the server should most likely fix lag when large amounts of players on so those very YouTubers you're trying to honor dont have to deal with lag; and really, for that matter, fix all those little very annoying issues Mineverse has.
No, this is aids. The last thing Mineverse needs is more chat spam of people desperately trying to get more subscribers so they can get a youtube rank.
