Marloo I'm extremely sorry to admit this but you are the bully. I've seen you post rude and disrespectful things so don't act like you didn't do anything bad. This isn't a arguement fyi this is a opinion.

 

LOL. First off there are 7 billion people in the world. Not 600 billion. Second, you can't go to jail for being a "Cyber Bully." A few years back there were these 2 kids at a school not to far away from me. One kid just kept being a really disrespectful dick to the other kid. One kid always wanted to get into a fight. The other one just wanted peace. One summer they tricked the poor kid into thinking that the most popular girl had a crush on the poor guy. Well she really didn't. It was just some silly sticks being s to the guy. He ended up hating life and he committed suicide. The other kids made him because of a msg over the internet. The only punishments were the fact that they had to go through life knowing that they made a kid commit suicide. If you commit suicide over a comment on the internet, grow up.

 

Most of what you said is right. But actually we had a police man and a parent come in talking about cyber bullying. It's actually a real crime now. If you inspire a kid to kill themselves over the internet it's technically man slaughter. It wasn't a couple of years ago. But with all of the suicides, attemps, etc. It's become a real crime.

As for you Marloodog. You seem like a d***. I've heard like 4 people say that you threaten to ddos. Seriously you are a skid (I can't do any of that sh** but I don't go around acting like I can). Honestly I hope you get ddos'd in the future. Finally I think you look like a girl.

If you are younger here and you are getting bullied online the easiest way to avoid it is to completely ignore the person. All they want is a reaction, don't give them one.

1. Cyber Bulling only rarely causes suicidal thoughts. Dude, I experienced critical suicidal thoughts when I was gone on MV for 8 weeks. It only happens when someone seriously curses and abuses you psychically. Haven't you ever heard of the saying, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me."? The thing that's the closest to someone dying is someone deleting their account. You have to chill,@Marloodog

2. This is something a little old to discuss about. I guarantee you, 80% of the people in Mineverse is already aware that Cyber Bulling is a pretty fair dilemma, but seriously, it's not worth making a whole thread about it. If you're unsure about this problem, PM someone.

3. Are you seriously kidding me? You said 'google Cyber-Bulling up if you don't know what it is" and yet you're still unsure what the consequences of Cyber Bulling is. You don't go to jail if you Cyber Bully. I am cyber bullying you technically right now because I am talking negatively to your thread. Marloo, before you post a thread, you need to know that 100% of this information, it 100% true and not false.

4. You are completely incorrect about "a common thing that little kids do that are immature.". Fun fact: Even 38 year olds do it. And in addition, are you saying that 10-40 year olds are 'little'?

5. People younger than you look up to you. If people find out you're older, they can actually listen to the information you are giving. This is mostly false information and I think you should've made this more of a question more than a discussion.

7. You're lying, I bet you never 'experienced' from immature kids going to jail from 'Cyber-Bullying'?! Marloo, you're making the joke, not the immature kids.

Marloo, this is not inappropriate language, but please watch your language. Grow up, about 85% of the people here are older than you, and some people are even more than 3 times your age. And you sum it up with, "Grow up".

9. I can't believe you can't even take a joke. I will not lie, sometimes, I say someone doesn't look good, then I say "jk" or "Lol I'm just kidding lol" and it ends up as a laugh. A joke can bring a laugh. So it really isn't related to this problem.

If you are going to make this thread, good and informative, you need to edit a lot. This is not helpful at all.

I agree about the cyber bullying. I absolutely will not stand for it. It is a real problem. Not only on this minecraft server but in the world in general. And don't believe that it is just because its kids. No way. Adults dish out the same, if not worse. The lying, backstabbing, 2 faced, manipulative folks just get better at their game. You have to be the bigger person and just ignore it and walk away. I know that is easier said than done, but its the best thing to do. Like others have said, they just want a rise out of you. You give them what they want, it just fuels their fire to keep doing it. Just my 2 cents. ;)

As harmful as you think it is, it can really affect some people so it's best not to do it at all. Also personally I think whoever says that crap has a dick sense of humor and wouldn't be friends with anyone like that.

Read through, I don't have much to add.
My advice would be.
Get off the internet. Don't get so involved with people that their opinions matter to you. If you don't know someone, and they say "you suck, kill yourself", it doesn't matter. You don't know them, they don't know you. It's when you get close to people that they can hurt you.
As far as threats, not just insults, tell your parents if necessary, tell the cops if necessary. Screwing with people online is not just low, it's illegal in many cases. Be your own problem-solver and try to fix things, don't just whine about it.
Lastly, anyone who cyber-bullies is even worse than a regular bully in my opinion. Not only do they obviously have low self confidence and get kicks from making kids hurt, like regular bullies, they also aren't brave enough to show their face. They do their little online tricks, but through a screen, because they're scared. Lowest of the low.
