(USA) Dyna_Mighty's Guard Application

Introduction:
Hi everyone! Its Dyna_Mighty here and I am ready to step up as a guard on the prison server. I am a huge fan of the prison part of this server! I initially purchased Minecraft to play with my son, and have become an addict just like everyone else here. I am a mom to 1 son, he plays on Mineverse with me. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a home school mom.

Why do you think you should become a Guard?
I think I would make a great guard in the prison because I really enjoy the game. Some don't understand why I play in the prison, and my answer is I truly like it. I have been on a lot lately and have done my best to help out people who are new to the prison game. If someone comes in with nothing and I have a stash of items, I help them out when I can. I am a mom, a strict mom at that, therefore I would make an excellent guard. (Im sure that line won't win me any points with the kids). I believe in 100% of following the rules, no matter the case. ( I changed this last sentence because someone called out the "fairness" that I had put in there) If I see two people fussing in chat, I do my best to help them resolve their issue. If someone gets the short end of the stick on a deal, I do my best to make it right. Say if someone steals someone's sword, pick, axe etc and refuses to give it back, I give the person who lost the item one of mine.

I have many years of online gaming experience and have even dabbled in html. I've owned several leagues in yahoo card games, directed thousands of tournaments, and been admin for several other leagues as well.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?
A couple months. I may be fairly new to Mineverse but I am no stranger to online gaming and online forums.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?
My hours will vary but here is a rough guestimate of what I can do
Sunday: 4-6 hours.
Monday - Thursday: 5-6hours.
Saturday: 4-6 hours.

Do you have any past experience as a Guard?
No.

Have you ever been banned on Mineverse?
Edited to add this in: Yes, sadly I have been banned once. For owning 4 plots. I didn't realize it was against the rules and absolutely deserved what I got. It obviously will never happen again. But I still haven't been jailed.

Do you know the Prison Contraband items & rules?
Yes, I do and am prepared to enforce these rules.


I want everyone to know that I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with all of you. I do my best to be helpful to new players, old players, friends, and foes. I really hope everyone enjoys gaming with me as much as I do yall. Dyna_Mighty

I am new to this forum. But like I have said, I've spent half my life using internet forums. I'm no stranger to how they work. And to answer your question, no I wouldn't give any type of contraband back to any player, sword or otherwise. I was using that as an example of how I try to make everything fair for players.

I support this one. She's helpful, kind, and by god is she actually strict. Her son has spoken to me in-game about having to go do his homework, so I had her middle(mom)man a message of "Okay, bye, have fun with that." sorts. ^^ Not much else to say.

 

I support you now. You are a bit more known on forum. I see you a lot on Prison, you are active helpful and nice. The only issue was you got banned for 4 plot's. Anyway you didn't know the rule's so it's okay.

I know, it stinks. I'm just having issues with understand what the defined "rules" are for this server and find myself in trouble again. I cannot knowingly take a guard position when there are rules that are not defined in black and white. And that Mods/Guards can ban someone at the drop of a hat just because they feel like they should or just because they can, without irrefutable proof. I absolutely cannot in good conscious apply for and accept a position in those types of conditions. I love this server to death, its the only server I play on. I want to work alongside people who strive to make this server a better place for all players. I don't care to work with people who have tried to get this title to have power over other players and to have the title of mod/guard. I just can't do it.
