beacons on skyblock

    hello people.

    i play a lot on skyblock.
    and i have a question.
    how do people get beacons on skyblock?
    everyone i ask sais i bought it from someone.
    how does the first person gets a beacon?

    All I know is that you can buy them at the shop,

    Edit: Actually you can go to the shop where the donator ranks are, and you can purchase a beacon for $5.00?
    Tell me if I'm incorrect, because that's where I think they are?
