1.8 ?

so with 1.8 just came out ? is the server updating ?

 

No, there is no need for it to update right now. When Crew and Cyp work it out, (resetting servers, EULA, etc) they will update it

 

They should update it. They're going to start losing players.

 

Yeah that could happen, but if they're dedicated players, I'm sure they'll stay

 

I'm a dedicated player. And I've been playing for almost 2 months.

possible they will update the server of course but it takes a while and they gotta see what the update does to the server first

 

In my opinion that's really stupid. They should update the server because they WILL in fact lose players to other updated servers :/

 

No they won't. Do you realize how many plugins they have to update? All the decisions that have to be made? Do you even know how much work it takes to run a server? If not then don't say they will in fact loose players when you don't even know what the hell you are talking about.

 

No alot of servers won't update for quite a while plugin developers don't always have the necessary stuff to update to 1.8 plus bukkit doesn't have a stable version.

 

Yea not just that Bukkit is owned by Mojang just a FYI. The Bukkit team quit then came back together since Mojang is going to keep it going. And Spigot is what Mineverse runs off of which is a better version of Bukkit. So there is plenty of updates to need to be done before Mineverse can fully update as 1.8 and other plugin updates are going to have there bugs and issues.

 

oh i'm so lazy in research i heard rumors of the bukkit with mojang, but didn't know. If i was to get the spigot client would it have the cool gui's and stuff on mineverse?

 

I don't believe so. Those are Plugins I believe.

Well, there goes me having to download another Optifine for 1.8 (if it came out yet :/ )

In fact some servers are already updated and working out some minor bugs, so idk but i honestly think that Mineverse will be updated soon and also with what someone else said EULA changes take affect but I'm not so sure because EULA has died down and nothing major has taken affect
