This if off topic kinda but @Daddy I travel for work and always stay at different hotels and use there wifi, is there any way for someone to access my files through the hotels wifi? I never turn on file sharing or anything like that.

 

Yes it's very possible if someone had the knowledge to do so. But I don't think you got anything to really worry about as that is a slim chance to find someone pen testing the hotels network

 

If someone did happen to do that how would I know, would I notice any difference in how my craptop performs?
