You'd apply with applications on the forums with builds that you have made (on this server, and others can lend you plots, but you have to build on your own), and then the head-builder would make a final build test, and if you pass, then you qualify for builder. Builders would get many more plots on creative, and possibly full world edit to make their building time much easier. And for the build server, I'd suggest the VoxelSniper plugin, it's great for terraforming floating islands.

This video is basically a tutorial of VoxelSniper, and shows some of the basics of it. It's a bit more complicated than World Edit, but when you get the hang of VoxelSniper, you'll be able to create builds much more easily.

 

I like this idea. For example on oppvp. I'm not saying it's bad,
But what kind of spawn you call that. Same with kitpvp.

 

Totally support! I have played on a lot of servers and most of them have a build team, this idea would be cool, but what if we had two build teams, or different teams for different kind's of builds. Like a Medieval team who could build Medieval style builds, or a modern day team which build modern day kind of builds and so on so forth. Like if you agree.

I do agree, but I'd think that 1-3 players that can build one style is enough, and of course we'd still need more for other styles. I'm thinking we could have build teams set up like this: a Spawn build team (a team that builds the spawns of the server, and different sections of the server), a Big Map build team (a team that builds maps for servers such as kitpvp, oppvp, and some others that I may have forgotten. The Spawn team and Big Map team would work together with each other to make the prison server, since all of it is connected), and a Small Map team (teams that build maps for servers like infection, skywars, the spawn and parkour area for the parkour server, since it could be built so much better, and the Big Map team and Small Map team would work together to make Survival Games maps).

 

Definitely agree, but i reckon if the build teams had 3-5 would be better, they would be able to finish the build faster and with more efficiency.

No one is allowed, so I don't know if this will work.

 

Why isn't anyone allowed, because there might be some better builders on this server who would show them up? I'm sorry, but if you have the skill to build amazing creations, then why wouldn't they let you help?

 

Because it's a big part, you have to be trusted by Noobcrew and Cyp.

 

The people who would try for builder are serious about this rank, meaning that they wouldn't destroy projects, or harass any of the other builders. If they do, they will simply be demoted. There is a complete separate server in which they build on, in which when the project is deemed finished, it will be schematiced into the server, coded, and then be able to use. I do understand that there has to be trust between the Cyp & Noobcrew and the builders, but think about it, they trust the moderators to not abuse, builders are the same, only they build and not moderate.

 

This Build team is not affiliated with the server. I am guessing they would only use our Creative Gamemode, nothing else. Cyp and Crew only have one Builder that built the server, and that would be Dewbious.

 

The gamemode they would use would be a creative-based gamemode that is only accessible by the builders, Cyp, and Noobcrew. There would be no plots, so they will have the freedom of bigger projects like lobby spawns and survival games maps.

 

Cyp and Crew would never agree to have a build team... lol
These guys can just create their own server, create the build, then give them the world file. That's the safer way.

I've talked to the Staff team about this, and they say that @Dewbious is an amazing builder, and they trust him more than a Staff team.

They say that he can provide more than a build team, as he is a fast and great builder.
I agree with them. :P
