Hi. I believe Well known member should be harder to get. There are now people with 200 messages getting 300 positives because of their friends. Senior members like me and laura, spent a long time getting positives and messages by helping people. People just spam now. Please take this into consideration. -Bunt
I agree with this. To this day I can still remember people like Sooper, Awesomely, you, And Laura working all day posting for goodness sake, where positive rate abuses weren't that big (I did get one by Awesomely back in the day, but that was so long ago). It was mainly about hitting that 1,000 post mark, and that was all. Now we have about 25 people with it, and a little under half of them being rate abused in a positive way to get to that point, defeating the primary purpose of WNM (well-known member). I support this statement with all my might and will.

Anyway, regarding the plan based off increasing the difficulty of this rank, considering the whole rank system is based on trophy points (63 trophy points = Well Known), I'd say increase it to 83, as that is a hard number to reach, even with rate spam (one way to get it is the typical 1K, and 250 likes, not positive ratings, likes). Although, I'm pretty sure tags don't change back if this were updated and influenced by those who are at the 63 trophy point mark, as the trophy and the points are permanent, I believe, but it would definitely stop future cases.
I don't really understand, but still people are getting 250 LIKES when they have 100 messages. I'm finding it really bloody annoying.
Support people who do that should be ban anyways it should be like 500 likes and 50 informatives 100 agrees and 20 funnys and 30 winners
Even though I was one of the people to get 250 likes with less than 1k messages, I totally support this I've been seeing friends liking other posts from friends to 'help' them get Well-Known
I also have to say I do agree with this. As it is, well-known member is pretty easy to get, even without considering all the like giving and post count spamming that can happen. (And I miss when it was a big deal to get active member ;-; )
Support. When I first joined the forums, there was like 2 well-known members and now there is like 15 so I would like it to be harder.
I agree. I remember when it was a top goal of mine to get Well-Known Member and now that a ton of people are getting it easier it just killed the achievement for me. (don't judge me ;-; )
