So I've been thinking... the mineverse player count isn't what it used to be due to people moving on with their lives but i wonder how many og players that were banned permanently all those years ago would rejoin after a ban wipe? i believe people change over the years. lmk what yall think
If someone really wishes to be unbanned then they can just appeal. But I agree with the others, some people should stay banned.
There’s a selective amount of people who will never be unbanned because of what they did over the years, I think we all know the names. I feel like those who were banned solely because of hacking or something similar could be reinstated at some point in the future. Some of those who are banned have done far worse than hacking. I don’t think there should be an unban all, at least for the ones who should stay banned forever. Then again those that were banned for hacking or something similar can always appeal and ask for a second chance. A ban wipe is definitely still a productive way to boost a servers player base back up, I’ve seen it happen on several big servers over the years but unfortunately it’s just not something we do. Although I wouldn’t be against a ban wipe for all hacking related bans if that’s possible. We’ve worked on our anti-cheat, why not test it?
very well stated, and i totally agree... maybe if there is a way to unban all "CHEATING" related offenses it would boost the playerbase
