Yes we opened 100 stacks of astros.. First off I'll mention that although we tried really hard to make sure this went perfectly and everything was recorded, there were some errors, kits being placed on the ground and clear lag taking them, and people buying/selling to my shops (I took note of the money change and took that into account when calculating my balance), for example. If each key takes an average of 15 seconds to open, 100 stacks took roughly 30 man hours to complete, so we discounted 32 keys to vote party keys we would have received during this time. Although all I've been doing for the last 4 days is opening astro keys, I have had some people to help me and make it more bearable, so thanks Matreea, jakelstraya, and most of all _savagebomber_ <3 I will include stellar and ultra rewards with the list below. The results: Money alone: $681,750 Cobblestone: 62 double chests exactly - that's 3,348 stacks or 214,272 individual blocks, If you were to sell this for 20 per stack that makes $66,960. However if you were to smelt it into stone and sell this instead you're looking at more than double this!! At $50 per stack of stone it's now $167,400, but for the purposes of this test we will keep it simple and assume you're not gonna smelt 62 dubs of cobblestone... Sand: 19 stacks + 49, or 1265 individual blocks and at 290 per block this is $366,850 Grass: 36 stacks + 46, or 2350 individual blocks, 580 per block (on average) is $1,363,000 Iron: 1 dub + 13 stacks + 21, or 4,309 individual blocks, at 290 (average) per ingot this is $1,249,610 worth!! Redstone: 7 dubs + 30 stacks + 45, or 408.7 stacks, at $225 per stack (cheers porky lad) that's $91,958. diamond pickaxe: 5 dubs + 44, or 314 picks, recently found out you could sell them in /shop so at $400 each there that's $125,600 iron picks: 10 dubs + 26, or 566 picks, again selling in /shop for $150 that's $84,900 4 cow spawners: Who knows what is going on with the spawner market right now so I'm gonna go for very safe prices - 56k each is $224,000 19 pigspawners at 20k each = $380,000 44 enderchests: For 2,000 per chest that's $88,000 diamonds: 2 stacks + 1, or 129 diamonds, at $1900 each this amounts to $245,100 Stellar keys: 6 stacks + 27, or 411 keys Ultra keys: 3 stacks + 4, or 196 keys Divine keys: 6, however I will sell these instead of opening, for maximum value. I am unsure of the price, as I have seen them sold for 400k but heard they're worth 60k... so I will wait to see and edit this post when I do. But for now we will assume 6 divine keys has a value of $360,000 (60k each) But all together that adds to $5,327,728 (triple checked) A couple of other interesting things I'd like to mention before the grand reveal: We opened one dub of keys and kept the rewards separate to the second lot, just to compare. We found no obvious change in rewards and if both lots looked to fit each other in terms of chance. We recorded the results for the stellar and ultra keys too, if anyone is interested in having a look I can write a forum post in the future explaining that, just lmk! Go to /warp wholesaler for plenty of iron/grass/sand/diamonds/spawners/anything i just mentioned in the list above! And message me in-game to buy the divine keys! :D All errors were fixed to the best of our abilities and were so minor that at this scale they make virtually no difference if any went unnoticed, so this can be considered a perfect and legit result. I wouldn't mind compiling a list of the faults/problems we had with recording everything perfectly if anyone would like to know. I was actually having dreams (nightmares) about opening keys Lastly, I will not be doing this again.. 6,400 astro keys = a value of $5,327,728 So, this test determined the price of an astro to be $832 Although this is very different from my first test, this is almost 17 times more keys, so is much much more accurate, and the first test can be ignored as of now due to its inaccuracy. This price and verdict may change when I get a definitive price for the divine keys however. Let me know your thoughts/questions! Thanks for your interest.
