Implemented Lava Buckets, Yes or no? (Fixed(?))

When someone has pvp off it is because they don't want to deal with trolls trying to kill them for the sake of killing them. Allowing people to lava bucket other people and bed bomb them defeats this purpose. We should not have to worry about any player vs player attack with pvp off wich would include lava buckets. I get if it is an accident but chasing people down to kill them with one should not be allowed.

This is also equatable to dropping lava down a hill into someone's claim to kill their animals or burn it down. You are bypassing something that was set in place to protect players in order to inflict harm.

All this proposal will probably end up being is a rule change as I see no balanced way to stop this without also blocking an important part of the game.

I think you missed my point. I never want lava buckets disabled and griefing like that in such a way is already bannable. I'm talking about doing a similar tactic but against someone in order to kill them.

 

They should just minimize lava flow. Basically so lava can flow past the normal four blocks. But there is a reason lava is still place able and it’s for griefers and annoyances. Basically when someone’s in your claim, you can’t damage them. But with a lava bucket you. Killed many griefers doing this.
Also I’m pretty sure the lava in the bucket disappears when they try to place it in someone’s claim. So only you can place lava in your claim.
