Hello , Can you do like /report with a command or click on chat so like hacking and show all hackers that all use - scamming - griefing - etc and if its a fake report do like /warn for useless report and 3 warn = ban 7 days or 3 what ever days you want just only this cuz i see a lot of hackers and i forget their names so ok its finished

 

There's no point in moderators if everybody has these commands. No support.

"Hey this guy is beating me so bad, everyone /report and get him banned". It'll be impossible to see if someone falsely /reported someone. We also get the problem with people's alt accounts reporting the same person.

 

I feel like /report would need to act like a reporting macro. You type the name of the offender and then select what type of evidence you want (video vs picture) and it creates a forums report page fo you. I do agree that an abuse of this system should result in the system privilege to be revoked.

 

Or Mineverse can just add an anti-cheat that works.

Before anyone @s me, yes, I know they have one that kicks cheaters. It sucks. It is terrible. Get one that works.

1. Don't have multiple of your own post in a row
2. It is a good idea but it would be really hard to implement in practice. What looks like hacking to one person might just be a bad internet connection.

This isn't as simple as you think. Even already with an anti-cheat you think is too lenient, there are cases of false bans by the system. The more, for lack of a better term, oppressive an anti-cheat is, the more ban appeals the mods will have to deal with and less time they can deal with reports of hackers. Overall it tends to be easier to let some hackers slip through for manual review then to ban innocent players

 

First off: don't tripple post. Write everything in one post or use the edit button if you need to add more.

Anyway, support. You might want to consider rewriting your suggestion as I don't feel like people understand your suggestion. From my understanding you want either:

- /report [username] [message], and moderators to be notified of these ingame "reports". A random player doing "/report cwes hacking" would not do anything other than let moderators know that someone thinks cwes is hacking. We'd spectate and if people abuse it excessively they'd be punished for making false "reports"
- Or you want an ingame reporting system such as /report [username] [infraction] [video/img evidence] and us to be able to look at these. Basically letting people make reports without having a forums account.

I believe people above think having enough /reports on you would warrant an auto-ban.

 

I would support either of these as it would still have a human reviewing the case independently. If people don't like a top player for being to good, you shouldn't be able to /report them so you have a better chance.

You should move his thoughts to the top of the thread instead of having to have the clarification halfway down. As of right now I can not support what is posted as it does not reflect what it is supposed to be.

Neutral, if it’s a report system like hypixel that notifies a staff member what hacks they’re using support.
