My idea is to make a survival gamemode where you choose a plot in a town. (You can have up to 5 plots) Depending on the town you choose, you have to build a house in that building theme with the resources you have gathered. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Towns: Farmland Metropolis Sci-Fi Town These towns are just suggestions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to gather resources: You gather resources for your house in a survival world that resets every once in a while. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gamemode Ranks: Depending on how long you have been playing you get different ranks 0 to 29 mins of playtime - Guest 30 to 239 mins of playtime - Sojourner 240 to 479 mins of playtime - Inhabitant 580+ mins of playtime - Citizen ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Donator Ranks: If you have bought a rank you will have access to other dimensions where you can gather other types of resources. VIP or higher for access to the Nether. God or higher for access to the End ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shop: Next to spawn there could be a sell/buy shop, if you are too lazy to go gather resources yourself.
I like the idea of a server where people build nice things and get materials by gathering resources in a survival world. This reminds me of what I used to play before I moved to Mineverse. So support from me. I am however against donator ranks having monopoly on a huge chunk of the minecraft blocks. I'd rather say: - Keep it how you suggested, but in weekends (friday, saturday & sunday) all dimensions would be open to all. - Keep it how you suggested, but give the gamemode ranks you suggested get access to these dimensions too. For example giving Citizen permission to enter both dimensions. The gamemode ranks you suggested might be a tad easy to obtain so I certainly think it would be nice if there were more ranks after citizen too. That could however be based on other things such as how many likes your build has got or whatever. I also think people should start off with 1 plot, but get +1 plot per gamemode rank they get. I also think slapping in a pvp arena would be great. Currently, all mineverse offers is pvp gamemodes based around kits - whereas this one would force people to grind for the items you pvp with, and therefore make it more fair to new players. Adding a pvp arena would basically attract more players to the gamemode, even though it's not necessarily what the gamemode is about.
Neutral, I’d definitely support this if it was to get plenty of players but my fear is that it’ll just die like towny etc
