KitPvP is the last Mineverse gamemode from 2013 that was never reset. The world is still the same as the 2013 one with some adjustments and the player inventories and enderchests are still the same. This might not seem like a big deal but it is the only place where old players can check the exact date they joined as shown below (the lobby world was reset in 2014): Lobby (inaccurate join date): KitPvP (Accurate join date as it was never reset): Some old players also have rare items like wooden planks when you could go outside of map and break blocks in the old days. Op PvP also had these rares but was reset. Yeah it has some bugs like sometimes ranks don't display properly etc but I think that just some quirks that make it unique. It's also awesome to see how the map has slowly changed over time from the simplistic builds of 2013: Old Map: New Map: People have good memories of this map and it should never be reset. I made this thread because I have seen some suggestions to reset the economy or the enderchests and player inventories in kitpvp but I think that's a very bad move. I literally have some things from 2013/2014 in those enderchests. KitPvP is now also very active and a reset will drive players away. It's a pretty historic gamemode as it has survived through all the eras in Mineverse history and resetting it is like removing the last ties to the old players and it would be respectful for there at least to be a record of them on the server even if they never join again rather than let them be forgotten and lost to time: /seen on lobby: /seen on KitPvP: Thank you @Noobcrew
Support - Iron out the bugs and kitpvp will be popping again. Although, the times players joined are slightly wrong because I've been around for a lot longer than the kitpvp join date admits, partly because of multiple accounts but being aware that Mineverse was the first server I played on this account. I am well are that people know me from prior as well but who cares. P.S. Dont forget to buy my stock on Kitpvp :D
Yeah, it’s the same for a few people because some didn’t play kitpvp back in the day until a while later (I am a prime example!). However, it is a v old gamemode and it does have true join dates on it c:
I( agree it shouldn't be reset but the join date on Kit is also wrong. It shows the date you joined Kitpvp, not the server as a whole.
I know but it's the best we have because the lobby was reset in 2014 and that's wrong too. Kitpvp was never reset.
