The rest of the players who completed the scavenger hunt have been sent a pm by @Janice999 This months competition will be a map building competition for skywars! 5 general themed maps will be chosen, however, since it is nearing the holidays, 2 holiday / winter themed maps will be chosen as well! Map must be done on creative 1 or creative 2. Map must use 1.8 blocks (No end rods, concrete, magma blocks, ect.) No Inappropriate or lag causing builds. No redstone contraptions. Map needs to have 8 starter islands You may place chests down where you want, however take note that these locations may change. Map must be at maximum 128x128 You are allowed to submit one general themed map and one holiday / winter themed map. You are allowed to use //copy and //paste on the islands. Please use this template when creating a submission. IGN (In game name) | Plot Number (if you have multiple plots) | Map name | This months prize will be a 25$ gift certificate for the store! However, if if you submit a holiday / winter themed map and it wins you will also receive a 15$ gift certificate! Note | The prize is per map, not per builder, if you have multiple builders you will have to split the prize up. Holiday / Winter themed maps must be submitted by 11:59pm EST 12/20/19. can you win both competitions? (basically, if you win one competition are the chances for the other map submission effected negatively)
You can win both competitions, yes Should be as easy as /plot unmerge. Make sure that you don't have any builds where the roads will appear though
If this is the case then we will most likely reduce the number of maps. Using the //copy and //paste function of world edit to create multiple islands.

Making the island sand is a bad idea, if someone tries to place a block on the island or starts to bridge to mid then the sand will update and the island will fall out of the sky.
I tested it, and it only falls when the bottom block is broken. So it will be fine unless someone is stupid enough to mine the whole island
