So I have been thinking of doing this for a long time but never been bothered to, but I am getting very annoyed by people running around in a PVP sone kbing other just for fun. I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one that thinks this is annoying, so I made a video example of what I mean: I also made a poll for you guys to vote
i agree its super annoying but they are also really fun to play around with. plus if you are pvping someone that wants to fight they usually dont use kb sticks no support
Support. Why go to a server strictly for pvp, if you're just going to use kb? Makes no sense to me, and I agree, it is VERY annoying.
I don't think this will have the effect that you wish. There are other methods of "abusing" knockback, such as bows or swords. Users will simply move on to these said methods.
Neutral, it’s annoying. I would like them out but people will just use bows, or just enchant it onto their items like Ruminisque said.
No support, it's fun using them and like @hannah said, if a player wants to fight you, he would probably not hit you away.
exactly, just remove it so the staff can stop pretending donators get another item in their kits, its useless
No support! Honestly what will removing the knockback sticks achieve? There are other means of knockback (By enchanting item with the signs at spawn) so what's the point in removing them? If a player doesn't want to fight they'll use it (That's me) The people that do want to fight wont use them you just got to find those people. Replying to what you said. Most hackers that I've seen don't use anti-knockback on oppvp because anticheat will ban them eventually so in turn the knockback stick prevents them from killing me while there unfairly cheating. Also find it funny how most people supporting this don't really play much of op pvp at least I personally haven't seen you on. If you were you would know when hackers fly and tp aura and you get killed with the best amour or weapon in the game with out the stick you would be dead but it gives you a chance. Most hackers don't use anti knockback well if you were on you would know this as well because they would get BANNED from the anticheat or get killed because the anticheat don't like it and stops them from moving (glitches them) so anti knockback does nothing so stop using it in your defense
Even if the knockback sticks were removed from kits, I don't think Mineverse has a way to remove the knockback sticks for every inventory without a reset. Although, a reset sounds nice :P
No support. I'd hate to have to deal with tryhards who constantly run and spam their pv's without kb sticks. They help with hackers too.
The poll closed but I support this. As stated above, it's purely a pvp based server(OpPvP specifically), not a server where people come on to get trolled by people with kb sticks. It's just flat out annoying for those who want to actually participate in pvp. You could argue that there's tryhards and the kb sticks help with hackers. Most hackers have blatant malicious hacks; anti kb to be more specific, so that's out of the question. As far as tryhards go, that's just a dumb excuse. You're choosing to log onto Op PvP, you're choosing to drop down and PvP knowing the types of challenges you'll face on all levels. Tryhard or not, just fight, that's what you physically logged on to do, so don't complain. That's all I have to say on this, again support.
i agree with this so much and even if they were to remove it theres still kb2 swords and bows with punch
Its basically just for fun, and I think its fun too. But sometimes it can be annoying, it is understandable
No support, its really funny when you just run around and kb stick people. If they start to annoy you kill them (ingame)
