By accessible, I mean not taking 2 hearts a second just as standing on Bedrock would do to you. Here is the spot in question: Spoiler: Images Standing anywhere along that stretch of dirt/stone/grass will damage you - zombie or human. It is not an overpowered spot Zombies can easily hit you off from the side, or jump inside you. Any player can get there A simple backward jump will suffice. It has been like that since the start of Infection Proving that this spot has not been a problem, ever.
When they’ve been implementing tons of infection suggestions but they won’t listen to us at the same time Sure support
They won't do it because they wouldn't care for such a minor thing like this. I got 16 supports and 1 neutral on this: https://www.mineverse.com/threads/bring-back-hijacked-map.148942/ and it was not implemented. I got 8 supports on this and 1 neutral: https://www.mineverse.com/threads/xp-bar-resets-when-you-win-a-game.149209/ and it wasn't implemented. I got 7 supports on this: https://www.mineverse.com/threads/buff-egg.149387/ and it wasn't implemented. If they don't care about the things which I mentioned above (which are much more important than this btw), then they will definitely not care about this.
@SSMH does standing anywhere on the dirt block cause you to lose health as though you were standing on a piece of bedrock, or is it only when you stand close to the bedrock next to you?
Yes dirt block crew decides what to implement. Not how many supports you got. That is why you suggest it, and they go through the suggestions. Different things are important to the admins then what you think is important.
It is what the community thinks is important. We are the ones who play the game and we know what should be implemented and what shouldn't. How many times have admins made the wrong decisions? Breaking vote parties, chatreact rewards items and this can happen in lobby etc. While I support this post, it is very unlikely that anything will actually be done.
Unique to this map, standing on the block that's next to Bedrock damages you. I found out it was made so that the block beside Bedrock damaged you too, so that someone couldn't crouch on the side and not get damaged. I guess it's related.
yes please, I hate having to stand so close to the edge to avoid damage - it's not a great spot anymore
Thanks for the replies. Update: Not only has this not been fixed, but the only other spot along this stretch of death has been blocked off as well. Which is again, ridiculous, for the reasons I have stated above. Seriously. ^
Neutral One of the spots is still accessible without damaging you, which I feel like is enough seeing how there are a multitude of other good spots on the map (unless there are high prestige zombies). These spots are also accessible via block glitching which may encourage it in other spots around the map. I wouldn't mind if the other spots were added back, I just don't think it is too big of a deal and I can see the rationale behind keeping it this way. Edit: Reading SSMH's post, it looks like the accessible spot was removed? Not really sure, I haven't been on infection in a while. If the staff decided to take further action to remove this one spot I doubt that it will be reverted anytime soon. Either way, still neutral.
Support although that spot might be a little op if a couple zombies tried to get the human they would Most defiantly achieve that goal. It wasn’t that hard to jump in with the human even if the human was hitting them off.
