Only 1.7 pvp. 1.8 is hard to deal with since they removed the animations for block hitting. I always play 1.8 with 1.7 animations mod. It helps a ton. There is no blocking in newer versions and it can't be added with plugins.
are you sure this is a 1.15 thing? I heard the nether isn't until 1.16. https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Java_Edition_1.16 1.15 is basically just pvp adjustments, bug fixes and bees it looks like. That's not until after the nether (for the mountain update) so you're gonna be waiting ;(.

My mistake. Assumed it was 1.15, as I didn't hear ''1.16'' during the panel. Mistake has been corrected.
My bad. Didn't know the developer confirmed it was 1.16. I just got the info from Youtube and they didn't really say in the presentation.
