so i have been on my island and a friends and both have mobs enabled and its dark enough but still they aren't spawning


EDIT BY MODERATOR:
You have to be a certain distance away to make mobs spawn. There is also a mob cap on the server, so the more players online, the less mobs. We might look into this later

 

have you tried restarting your game? or even waiting a minecraft day or two should work.

 

Not really sure if this is still an issue or if it ever was an issue judging by the edit, but I’ll be closing this as the OP and thread have gone inactive. If this is a persistent issue feel free to make a new thread.
