Creative Basics can water be added back on creative

hi i rly want water back on creative cause it prevents you from doing so much
examples:

• sugarcane for plants in houses.
• bathtubs?
• pools
• making rivers/lakes

EDIT: After seeing Dualband's response I'm going to have to agree with him now, sorry it's a no support for me. Like he said, people would create entire plots of water and lag the server.

There is a way to get water. If water was added back people would create entire plots of water and lag the server. No support

 

No support u can play creative in single player

 

If it flowed this may be the case, however you can world edit in unflowing lava and even if the entire plot has it it won't crash anything.

 

how do u get water

i would either like water or be able to place sugarcanes without water, if that was something they could add it would be great and i wouldnt need it. I just wanted water so i can add something green to my house without it being big leaves cause it just looks tacky

+ using light blue and blue stained glass is great for the visual of water! i tend to do that. so the pool isnt a must but it would be great, but I do agree with dualband on the whole water plot thing. again, all i want is sugarcanes ahah

water causes lag to the server? Didn't know that, you could just limit how much water is being used i.e. max of 10 buckets can be used. Same can be said for lava

I can get for placing water, but what does rendering water do?

 

Everytime someone renders chunks, the server sends info, including info about light levels. Lots of water means lots of info, especially if there are light sources below water.

 

Makes sense right now, thanks for clarifying it but if we could restrict how much water is used, that would help a lot to both sides. It can reduce the server lag and still be able to give people the option to use water

Neutral, would like to see water in creative but like literally everyone’s mentioned, it’ll lag. If there’s a way to stop that 100% support.

Also to get water you just place a torch near ice and wait.
