Hi Mineverse,

I think it would be a great suggestion, which stops hackers from coming back, again and again. Instead of a 7d day ban which is only a week it should be more like;

1st Offense: 31d ban
2nd Offense: Perm-ban (appealable)
3rd Offense: Perm-ban (non-appealable)

This will stop the flow of hackers just coming back again and again; it will also make the hackers that are thinking about hacking on Mineverse about the 31d suspension from the server.

Would false bans count towards offences?

 

False bans you will be unbanned and it will be listed on your notes.

 

1st ban should be a perm ban lmao (you should be able to appeal it, obviously).

 

No, 31d will make them learn there lesson if they are hacking, give them a chance to join back. 2nd is a low chance and will have to wait more until there appeal has gone through.

 

I think it should just keep being 31 days

 

They don't learn their lesson though... Do you not realize how many people hack and have been banned several times for it?
I'll give you a few names of hackers that won't stop hacking.
Feel free to remind me of any other known cheaters.

and so so many unranked players, you may think its a different player every time but if you watch the way they talk its all so similar, clearly the game guy hacking on alts with a vpn.

Many players deserve a perm ban, they will never learn their lesson.

But I guess the owners are scared to lose even more of their players, even if they do cheat.

 

I say put hacking to 2 weeks.

No support I've been false banned so many times are half the times it gets denied

Im gonna go with neutral i would say 1st 7 2nd 31 3rd perm or 1st 14

 

Seems a little intense, I don't think 31d's is going to make anyone learn their lesson when the majority of the times they come back and still cheat, or just use an alternate account and ban-evade.

Its common sense, don't hack on Minecraft servers, or any multiplayer game that is. Most other servers do perm bans for hacking. Hackers shouldn't deserve second chances, sure we'll lose more people initially, but in the long run we'll gain more people because we won't have a hacker problem.
