Introduction:Hello! Most of the community knows me as Xokah, depending on whether you know me from the old days back from 2013/14 or from 2015/2016 you may know me as Dishandswish2002 or GetRektScrubs. I have been playing for a very long time and have been pretty well-known in the community for most of the time playing the server. Becoming moderator is something I have always been interested in doing on this server but I have just never gotten around to it and I believe now is the perfect time to apply for staff as I see a need of more staff members and many people asking me to apply for moderator. I have seen mods helping people, moderating chat and keeping the server free from hackers. Recently I decided I wanted to help by applying for staff to become a moderator. I believe I can convince you of why I am worthy of becoming staff. When I first joined Mineverse in 2013 I was a kit pvp 2 player. I began to become interested in other game modes and began to become known in the community more in Op factions. Kit pvp 2 and Op Pvp. I have started to play more and more game modes and understand how each game mode varies. Thank you for reading my staff application. How old are you? As of January 2018 I am 16. Your-in-game name: Xokah This has been my most known name in the community and has not changed it in quite a while nor am I planning to do so in the future. What timezone are you in? Eastern Standard Time What languages do you speak? I can only speak English fluently. I can also speak a good amount of Italian since I have been taking the language for over 4 years now. (Not fluent in Italian). I also know a tiny bit of Spanish. Do you have the necessary means of capturing device? Yes, I am capable of recording in high quality in multiple programs such as action, obs. fraps and bandicam. I can also take screenshots in game with Minecraft, gyazo, and Imgur. I can also upload any necessary videos to youtube to report someone. I also have adobe after effects and sony vegas If an editing software is needed. Why do you think you should become mod? Honest/Trustworthy: I was brought up to value honesty and being honest is someone that is a very important asset for me or for any other staff members. This also means I value being viewed as a trustworthy individual. When I promise someone or give someone my word I will do everything possible to go by what I had promise and try my best not to break that promise. Respectful: I believe having respect is another asset that is very important for any individual to have in life to be able to succeed in anything in life. I always try to be respectful to others to the best of my ability even when that respect is not returned towards me. No matter what happens, I work my hardest so I can maintain a respectful tone towards other players and staff members. Helpful When someone in-game or on the forums needs help, I try to be as helpful and responsive as possible. Since I have been on the network for a very long time I have tons of knowledge about the server. If i am unable to give sufficient advice that can solve the user's problem I will look more into the issue by asking other staff members or directing the user to another staff. Mature Due to past life experiences, I have grown up and become more mature by learning from my mistakes and I believe that I am more mature then most people my age. I am seen as one of the mature people in life by family, classmates, friends, and teachers. I try my best to be as mature as I possibly can in every situation that I face. Quick Thinking In life, a valuable asset to have is quick thinking. In life, there will be many occasions where you will need quick thinking. When a situation presents itself, good or bad, I try to respond to it as quickly as possible. I think of a way to deal with the situation and execute the plan to the best of my abilities. Empathetic/Sympathetic Since I have had a variety of life experiences, my personality has become very empathetic. When someone is going through a tough time in life I try my hardest to listen and offer support when they need it most. I can also be sympathetic because I have had hard times myself and have helped friends through tough times in the past. Rational When presented with a problem, I try my best to be as rational as I possibly can. I put my emotions aside, and make the wisest decision possible. If someone is doing something they are not supposed to be doing. I will give them the proper punishment regardless of who they are with no bias. Friendly I am a friendly person. I try to be as nice to everyone as I possibly can, and when I make a mistake or accidentally upset someone I try my hardest to correct my mistakes and learn from them. When someone is new to something I try to be as kind and friend as I can and be able to help them in any way necessary and become friends with them. Patient Patience is another characteristic that I possess and that I believe is a valuable asset for a staff member to have and is necessary for the position. When multiple people are trying to get my attention at once I try to help them and be as patient with them as I can. When someone does not understand something after I have explained it multiple times I try to rephrase my explanation and be as patient with them as I can. Working Well With Children I am very good at working with kids, and since children play on this network I believe that this will help. I volunteer to watch family members and friends which I believe this qualified experience in dealing with children. Ambitious I am very ambitious and create goals and work towards those goals until I succeed. When I first started playing this server, I saw moderators being helpful and decided I wanted to do that one day. I have been working on those goals and I'm very ambitious. Forgiving Forgiveness is something I value. When someone does something that upsets me, I try to be as forgiving as possible and as understanding as I can. I don't hold grudges towards other people, and when something happens I tend to forgive people because after all, it is just Minecraft. Fast Learner When faced with a task what I do not know to perform, I ask people how to do it for advice and I learn quickly. Learning quickly is very valuable and is very crucial to fulfilling your purpose as a moderator. I pick things up very easily. How long can you be active on the server every day? Although I am from the United States, I am active most of the time and a lot of time when there are normally very little to no mods. So even though I live in the US, I will mostly be active at a time when most of the US mods are not active. I will be active the same amount time if not more doing the summer. These hours are for when I should be on during the school year. How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been on Mineverse since November of 2013. I have been a pretty known and active member of the community for a long time and I have enjoyed the time I have spent on this server. There are plenty of awesome people in the community. I have been on the forums since late 2014 and this allowed me to meet more people around the network and report hackers and converse with other people. Unlike other players, I have been here for a very long time and I know lots of members of the community including players and staff. I have met tons of people over the years of playing on this network. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums and Ingame) Yes, I was once banned in 2014 for "hacking" and later banned twice for hacking which was both false and I was immediately unbanned. Other than the 2 false bans I much regret letting my temper get the best of me and saying a death threat which resulted in my first legitimate ban. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I have been a moderator in the past, I was helper and moderator on Hysteria and Velt. I have never been staff on mineverse and I would love to have a chance to prove myself worthy of the position. I know how to abide by the rules, detect hackers, screen share, very handy with computers and helping people, moderating chat and helping fellow staff members and supporting people on discord and teamspeak. Benji you say no support for everything you should atleast give people a chance. For one he is more known than you and most people on this server.
I personally do not know him, and I do support people. I do have the right to no support people also.
When I first saw this application, I wasn’t expecting this amazing application. For that, I am extremely pleased with what I read here, it was absolutely amazing. Anyway, I cannot judge your state of becoming a moderator on Mineverse just by your application, since that is not how you judge an applicant. Here are my thoughts on you: Although most of your reasons of why you want to become a moderator might be true, I do not see them being followed in present time. Most of these I see the opposite of you. I won’t name the reasons that I don’t think are being improved because of the following two reasons: I do not wish to express my opinion more openly than what I currently am, and second I believe if I keep them private, you will hopefully improve them all instead of focusing on the ones I would have told you. That said, I don’t value a rating much, but for the sake of an application and improvement, I will give you a neutral rating. My rating shouldn’t mean as much, even with my role as a staff member, because it’s just a rating in the end, Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck! If you follow your goals like you said in your application, you will earn your way to complete the goal. I once had the same goal as you, and you should know where I’m at currently. :P
Thank you man I really appreciate I know I don't show it in game sometime but recently since I came back I have spoken with some staff and I have changed and I'm no longer toxic in chat just play around a bit because I'm playing for fun and not professionally considering I'm not staff yet but will change If I am given for the opportunity. Its ok I'm mostly known from kit pvp 2 and op factions from the old days and op pvp and a bit from kit pvp 2 more recently. I am going to try to play some other game modes in the future
No support, saw you in-game today and even though you seem to be keen in making sure players follow the rules, I saw you being disrespectful and swearing. Change how to talk to other players and I'll reconsider.
No support, you’re actually extremely toxic. The times I’ve been on OpPvp and seen you, you were talking trash to someone, cursing, hating people in general, etc. You also just barely meet the requirements, meaning you don’t do too much on the forums, even with you being here for a really long time. You say you’re respectful, helpful, friendly, patient, and forgiving, but all I have ever seen from you is disrespect, anger, cursing, and hatred. You say you’re active 8 hours a day on forums, but yet you never post anything except the occasional report?
No support, you really annoy a lot of players. If anyone is supporting you of all people to become a moderator they obviously haven't seen how you talk to others in game and the disgusting remarks you make all the time. You also hackusate players who obviously aren't hacking instead of just talking to them or reporting. Good luck nonetheless.
No support -Reasons stated -I don't think i've ever seen a report out of you - If I recall correctly you were banned for advertising too, also you've had alts banned for ban evading, neither of which you included.

In the past? I saw him being toxic to players legitimately a few DAYS ago. As people told me, a change of heart doesn’t just come in a few days, but it takes time. We gave him a second chance, and a third, fourth, and fifth, but he’s still just the same person. Yeah, we’ve all done stuff like that before, but we didn’t stay the same, we at least tried to change. I don’t see that effort to change from Xokah.
I do report if you ask the moderators, I have been reporting more lately, and I was false banned. That ban was removed. I said I can be active on the question States “How much can you be on a day” not how much have you been on a day, as of the past few days a I have been constantly recording and reporting players on op pvp and kit pvp. I am also aware some players are going to no support because of “toxicity” first of all you have to understand there are many people who pretend to be me or use my accounts that I have given out to people on years past, anyone that knows me well knows I’m not toxic. I joke around in game sometimes but recently been more professional and serious since applying for moderator. Thanks for your opinion hopefully I can change your mind. I was joking around at the time I showed the moderators a full conversation but since I said “yes I’m selling accounts” as a joke I was banned. They said they couldn’t do anything about it. Unfortunately. Like I’ve said my account was shared multiple times, no longer giving it out. In the past yeah I used to be toxic, but recently the past few mo the I haven’t been toxic u less it was a friend on my account t or someone pretending to be me. Ask some of the moderators that know me well. I’ve changed for the better and plan to be a lot more productive on the forums and in game
So you’re saying people have acccess to your account? Obviously that’s not good if you’re going to be moderator, and even as an applicant, people may get the wrong idea thinking you’re being toxic. Along with this, if they get access, they can get you demoted by doing something stupid. You joking around doesn’t look like joking around, it just looks rude. Good luck
As I previously stated I have removed all other users of having access to any of my accounts as of the other day, as well as tons of people pretend to be me. Ask me in the future on my main if it is me or not on another account. Thanks for checking out my staff application Alright
