The ban for releasing info is way to short, people can do very bad things with ips, and other personal info.
Ips such as ddosing them, they can swat them and even worse things, personal info can be put on the dark web.

I believe that it should be AT LEAST a 6 month ban. This is a problem that we need to get rid of.

6 months? Definitely not. Support for a longer ban though.

Why I said "At least" 6 months was just 2x longer than it is now (unless they changed it to a week like death threats)

    2x longer?

    • Releasing Private Information: (7-31 day ban based on offence severity)

i feel like way longer bans for just Full names, Adresses, and also Ip adresses. since these are invading privacy a lot, and once it is out you aren't going to move just to solve the issue, ips are different, but releasing an address should be a perm ban

People who get ip and stuff like that is also consider hacking... So it should be a ban for that too... They are also breaking the law in some states and you can report it.

Reporting to the police isn’t the best move is some cases. If they threaten you or your family in or try to hurt you in any way, I fully agree you should call them.

In some cases yes, the police could get involved, but I highly doubt 12-16 year olds (Around the age everyone is) are going to have the police get involved. I honestly don't know how that would go, I mean they are most likely going to live in a different state, maybe even country.

Support, but I'd suggest the bans to be between 14 days and 2 months, maybe permanent bans for extreme offences.

I support but I think this can be done accidentally like mentioning someones name like "John". But with IP's it should be a much severe punishment.

Or maybe just not punishing players for mentioning their first name unless their first name is really really specific like "awiubdaoiubwd" because they'll be easy to track, some people have really unique names.

    ---

Overall I think it should be a longer punishment on some rules like hacking or advertising.

Some of the stuff that you guys ban for regarding releasing information can get you put in prison. It should definitely be a longer ban.
