Bumping, also would like to ask people to quit saying there's to little detail :l

 

I don't think thats appropriate, people are just giving you feedback and some ways to improve. Some opinions actually might help and some not. I think all criticism is helpful is some way. If you can't handle taking peoples opinions think about what you are applying for again?

 

As Gabe said, you're supposed to take people's criticism on your application, as they are the ones that are giving you the ratings. These people are writing this because that's what they (myself included) think you should add onto your application to make it better, and maybe even get a better rating out of us. If you want people to stop saying there is little detail, add some.

Yes... I also honestly think the application has enough detail, I don't know what else to add.

 

Some advice I can give you is that go into my depth of your qualities. For example explain how you have them and how it is important to have it. I honestly don't think you were joking with that last statement but it's fine. You have a good start just add some detail and if you honestly think you have enough detail then keep it like that if you are happy. I would just try to do what a lot of people suggest.

He is merely asking that the same feedback not be repeated over, and over, and over. No need to exaggerate this by accusing him of being unable to take criticism.

Detail in one's application is completely irrelevant to one's actual ability to moderate, and is not a means of judging an applicant.

If you are judging people by the applications they post then you are making a mistake and I strongly suggest you review Cypriot's thread on how to judge an applicant.

There have been moderators who have typed up pages and pages about how suited they are for the position, and then get demoted in less than two weeks. Vice-versa, there have been people who have typed minimal in their applications and done exceedingly well.

I'm not sure how or why the obsession with fluffed-up applications still exists, it is honestly quite shocking.

You do whatever you want youtuber, I wholeheartedly believe you have got this, regardless of whether or not you add detail.

 

I do agree he has a good chance but I must have seen it in another point of view. I did say he is free to do whatever he wanted to do. I am just saying if people are giving him the same feedback maybe he should look into it.
