The title explains my suggestion. It would be nice to be implemented, to thank the "retiring" moderators for their services EDIT: This would replace the rank upgrade retiring staff would get. ( )
There is already a "reward" that moderators get as a appreciation once they reach a certain time stamp in moderating, so there is no need to add another reward. No Support.
I believe that it's fair because those "retired" moderators willingly help the server, for a long time and without being really thanked for their services What is that reward?
Not as valuable as getting free Titan, but it's a rankup from their previous rank, basically the same rankup system if the retired moderator were a Top Voters winner. Either way, that is probably we will be given in return anyway.
No Support, like @Ordi said if there is something implemented already why need to give them the highest rank in the game. I understand the concept and the generosity but I don't feel like this is needed.
Neutral, not all mods are equal in time spent as a mod or their effectiveness. I believe the more long term, flexible and effective staff should get a better reward than a mod who did the minimum to get by. Basic capitalism, the more effort and time you put in, the more you should get in returns.
As a retired moderator, I feel this would motivate those unworthy of becoming a staff member — in all of the wrong ways of course, driving players to become a part of staff for money as opposed to helping the server in general.
