support; ur a very nice person even tho u have had some moments. plus; there have been a lot of staff who have been rude and obnoxious but promoted. you're someone i would want on the team. good luck
Thank you for your consideration, @EnderStevePigMan. Hopefully, I might be able to change your opinion soon enough.
I've been here on Mineverse for about 4 years now and I've seen a lot of moderator applications. People lie on applications all the time. Although you seem like an innocent person, I still don't 100% support your application until we actually meet in game. Good luck, hope to see you around
Well I'm bored and I haven't made a post in months so let's get to it. Introduction: Either put a period after "Hello" or make the M in "My" lowercase. The following sentence should be "... Jessica, but I prefer to be called Jess or Jessy." You contradict yourself when you say "I chose to list what I am fluent in" then proceeded to state you are only "a bit fluent in Spanish." Unbiased line: Use "therefore" instead of "therefor" if you'd like. Word per minute tests aren't very accurate. The bit about females being worse than males (I have no statistical evidence so I'm not going to bother researching it to disprove it for now) is completely unnecessary. Back to the wpm tests ... your average words per minute can easily change based on what language you're typing. Many languages have longer commonly used words than English. It's completely possible for them to have the same characters per minute as you, but a pitiful words per minute average at first glance. It's also dependent on what words you type (and that usually comes down to luck). You say that you've been banned in the past multiple times. However, you provide the typical "I've learned my lesson and stopped" explanation. I'm not saying it isn't genuine, but it doesn't seem unique enough to make it look different from a ban appeal. Colors are useless. People say that they're supposed to make your application look "fancy" and "nice," but the content is worth more than visual appeal. *I've never seen you before so this is completely unbiased. I just enjoy pointing out contradictory information and arguing my opinion.*
Didn’t even notice that first part. It’s not contradicting when I do speak Spanish well enough, and understand it to a full extent. Though, I do indeed see where you are coming from. I was raised growing off of learning Spanish, in school and through at home tutors. Though, I may not be able to speak every single word in the language, I can understand enough as to where I don’t need to. I really don’t see the point in changing it, as to where therefor is the correct way of stating it. Who often really needs help in another language? Yes, I am here to when somebody does, and I to will resolve it right then and there. I’ve stated the typical “i’ve learned my lesson and stopped” phrase, because its the truth. I haven’t been banned in over a year, because I have learned my lesson. I’ve explained this further in my application. I’ve not added color and I’ve stated why, so I don’t quite understand where you’re coming from? As to the words per minute test not being accurate; how is that so? You are timed within a 60 second period, simply to see how many words you can type. Everytime I redo it, I excel by 1 or 2 words, which is quite phasmic. I am proud of how fast I can type, and even prouder that I can get responses out quickly. I am not leading out your way of arguing, but processing what you have said, and learning from it. Thank you for your response.
I was supporting your decision not to add color because it had no value towards your application. Like I said before, words per minute tests aren't a good test to see how fast one can type. It should be based off of characters per minute instead.
