Is Mineverse Staff Experienced

well i know that but would you prefer sacrificing some of your time being, false banned or having someone with a ghost client targeting you and you stand no chance against him.

 

You know how many issues Moderators have to deal with at once? Wasting 15 minutes on a screen share won't be ideal.

If you're false banned, appeal.

Record then, or if you're the Moderator then record and ban him.

 

Okay Mods don't have to always be mods the good thing is that some times that they pvp. But even on there free time i have seen mods just f*ck around and do jack sh*t while hackers are there. I dont wanna say any names but i was on kitpvp once and there were atleast 5 hackers obviously hacking and the mod said i dont feel like banning them.

 

This makes no sense.. First off, you admitted to your friend as a hacker but was lagging in the process. Even if he was "falsely banned" he was still hacking, which is against the rules. So either way, they would be banned. Second, the staff team aren't robots, they are humans and humans make mistakes. Third, the newer staff members ARE trained, I believe, the first few days after being promoted. Hacks are very easy to point out as well. So please be salty somewhere else

Same. I was false banned many times but except the fact that I didn't talk it through with Cy.

 

Cyp and Crew don't "hire" Moderators. Moderators don't get paid one cent. Blueman and MaxNinja, for example did amazing jobs when they were still Moderators. Moderators whom are above the age of 11 do make false bans too. It's a learning process and less instances like those occur.

 

This point has been made before and yes there are good mods but what i am saying is there are too many flase bans

 

So what do you propose?

 

Staff meetings so they can improve their performance as Moderators

 

We already have weekly staff meetings.

 

I know some of the staff are disrespectful to me most of the time, not normal moderators mostly the higher up mods they have no respect for anyone, i feel like they need to be more respectful and more cooperative with players.

Most of the higher mods, are nice this is directly to a couple of the higher mods.

Agreed. The mineverse staff aren't even experienced. I was falsed banned once.

 

False bans happen all over on other servers. Just because of one false ban means that the entire staff team isn't experienced?

But i think Mineverse staff is experienced thats why staff team and forums community choosed them

 

if every server required past experience to be a moderator, nobody new would ever get a chance.

plus, even the most skilled people can make mistakes. i'm not condoning false bans, but i think it's unfair to judge an entire group of people solely based on your negative experiences with a few.

Things that happen on the server. Things that Staff Members should know. It's pretty serious, and it proves that the staff team is really committed.
