I'm neutral for a few reasons: You seem to contradict yourself when you talk about dedication being "one of the most important traits that one needs to possess to be an exceptional moderator... " when earlier in your application you talked about trying to quit the server multiple times: "I've taken a few small breaks from the server in the past, some of which were ultimately attempts to leave it" Another example would be when you said: "Of course, I won’t be up-to-date with how to work things... " I feel that it is important for a moderator to always stay up-to-date with how things work so that it's easier for you to help others. Also while this may not apply to others viewing your application, the fact that you have been banned from the forums multiple times for "specifically rate abusing and use of profanity" gives me the impression that you have problems dealing with opposing opinions.
I understand your point completely. My reasons for trying to leave the server were valid ones for myself, such as needing to focus more on school and just being overwhelmed by stressful things that were happening in my life at those times. I haven't made any attempts to distance myself from the server or the community in awhile, however, since those things have been/are being dealt with and I'm in a much better place now. I am completely dedicated to Mineverse, which is the main reason that my 'attempts at leaving' were never more than attempts. When I said that, I meant that I won't be 100% aware of how the moderator perms work, as I haven't been staff here since 2014, and even then I was only a Prison Guard. However, that is why new moderators are assigned a mentor(s); to help them with the basic stuff in the beginning. I am familiar with the basic perms that a moderator has, though. I'd just need to learn the rest. You're right though, I should've elaborated on that or worded it differently. I'll probably change it, thank you. As far as I can remember, all of my bans have been intentional, mostly to make it easier for me to take breaks from this place when I felt like I needed to. I am very familiar with the rules, and have never been banned on 'accident,' so I really don't think this should be a problem. I definitely see where you're coming from though, and I can see how it looks bad. I appreciate your response, and I hope I cleared some things up
