I have come back. I want to start a new me. Some might know me, other's not. I was a former staff member for about a month. If you want to read what happened, please go ahead in the gyazo link. I want people to re-think of me and understand who I have now become.

Hello... I'm Flarey. October 13th 2016, it was changed from flare_snuggles.
I was a global staff member for about a month or two; I admit I was pretty rubbish and I did not what so ever have what it took to do the job. I was lazy and inconvenient. When staff friends asked me if I wanted to get taught through Skype, ts, or discord, I responded "no" as I had previously lied about my age. This was my biggest lie, but my greatest mistake. I had created the application for staff about 2 years ago and everyday, I got more competitive and more interested in Mineverse. Starting from Factions to Prison to each server back and forward.

I would like to be a guard and a guard only, however if I was a staff; I would focus a lot more on prison although I would decline and accept reports on all servers. I believe that I am most known and suitable for prison as I know all the rules and tricks players can use to get past new and old staff members. I think that most of the prison community knows me and has some sort of trust or relationship with me. I believe this is worthy to have as you want to enjoy a hard job.

I have three different recording software's, 2 screenshot software's.
I have a YouTube Channel to upload them straight there.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

I'm looking at everyone's moderator application right now and I find it appealing how they can just list a long list of titles of meanings however do you actually know they are really what they say they are?. I'm just going to say, the one's which I feel are most important in this job.

Fair:

Fairness is described as "impartial and just treatment or behavior without favouritism or discrimination."
I believe that fairness is about helping or telling people off no matter if it's my younger brother or a cyber bully. I think that throughout my years, I have grown to understand what being fair and what biased is actually all about and how you use that on your own actions.

Independent:

I believe that Independence is a key in moderating. I think that everyone has a choice and that choice needs to be picked wisely. I mean this by if I'm the only one online and I need to make an important decision quick. I know the risks and advantages to be-sure I made the right decision.

Organisation:

I think that this is very important as looking at report evidence, e.g videos and screenshots is just quicker and more efficient when organised.

Knowledge:

Having basic knowledge is good on everything however I believe that the best knowledge in minecraft is what hacking is, what type of hacks are out there, general minecraft knowledge and how to moderated.


How long can you be active on the server everyday?

Week Days:
Monday = 2 - 5 hours
Tuesday = 2 - 3 hours
Wednesday = 2 - 5 hours
Thursday = 2 - 3 hours
Friday = 1 - 4 hours

Weekend:
Saturday = 2 - 9 hours
Sunday = 2 - 9 hours

Weekends are complicated; I put the "2" due to rare, private family decisions.

- Banned: Lobby (Demotion Ban)

All three of theses banes have occurred over a year from now and I know the boundaries.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

I would like to say I have on this server, however I believe I wasn't the best due to training, ect. So I know basic knowledge.

I would like to conclude that, I'm not that young immature kid sitting behind a monitor. I have a goal here and that isn't to mess around. I have learnt a lot of things from private life situations and online situations. I understand fully the needs and causes acceptable for this job.

I think you've been gone for too long to re-apply as soon as you return.

The only people that know of you are people who played back then. To the new Mineverse community you are a stranger.

You also haven't made any reports.


I suggest you close your app for a while and get caught up. Get to know the community and them you. Start making more reports and work on your activity. After that, I think you would be ready to re-apply.

So much has changed since you left. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the new community, rules, etc. before seriously applying to moderate the server. Some things are still the same, however, so just review and refresh your memory on those as well.

You seem a lot more mature now though, which is a good thing, just keep it up. You should also increase your activity a bunch, and like many people have said, work on doing more reports.

 

Maybe just start reporting, being active, and communicating with the community? Other then that, everyone deserves second chances, am I right? Support, I know you can do this.

I am sorry, but I can't support. As you said in the application, you just came back. I would wait, and get active and do some reports. I honestly have never seen you throughout my experience on Mineverse, however, you seem very nice.
