Hello, I'm BrainStormBlitz and this is my mod application but first here's a bit about me. I am currently in 8th grade at school, I mainly study maths, graphics and IT. I am a very friendly person and I don't make fun of people or abuse them. Ok so here's my application,

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?

Yes I do, for recording I use QuickTime player, Screenflow and OBS. For screenshots I have my laptops default screenshot (Command shift 3) and I have the default Minecraft screen shots. (F2) To upload my photos I use Imgur and to upload videos I have many YouTube accounts.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

Friendly

I am friendly toward everyone even if a player is using harmful language toward me or my friends I don't start using words that hurt people. I always like to chat so if anyone is feeling lonely they can come talk to me as I don't tell other people there problems.


Supportive

I support my fellow players when they need it most especially if they are feeling down or just need someone to talk to.


Resilient

I should be a mod because I'm very resilient, when people say hurtful things to me I don't let it affect my attitude and personality. I ignore these things and keep doing whatever I'm doing. As a active member I see staff copping a lot of abuse so if I was a moderator on this server I wouldn't let it affect me or my actions.

Responsible

I am responsible, if I was a mod I wouldn't abuse my abilities I wouldn't use god mode to prevent me from dying in a game. I am always responsible for all my actions I don't put the blame on other people for something they did not do.

Fair

I am fair to all players, I don't favour players more in reports and in-game and I still report players even if they offer me stuff or try and apologise. I treat absolutely every equally and don't discriminate against anyone

Helpful

I am helpful, whether it be answering a question or recording a hacker or advertiser I am always willing to help out the community no matter what. I find it fun to help people out and it's also a good way to make new friends.

Honest

I am honest, I take full responsibility for anything I do or say. I stopped lying around two years ago as I found it's best to be honest then lie. I don't like liars as they irritate me, especially if there hacking and won't admit it.

Australian

When I'm playing the server I generally see a lot of players using "hacked clients" this really annoys me as there is not much Australian staff. Living in Australia has its advantages as there is generally no other mods on when Australian players are. There is only four Australian mods on the server so having me apart of the team would bring a big advantage to the community because of how active I am.

Active

You might never in-game and no-support me because of this but before you do that if would be for one of these reasons. 1- I play at different times then you because of my time zone. 2- I don't play the same servers as you,If you have never seen me in-game you should know I play quit a bit, in-fact on average I play around 24 hours of Mineverse a week! As for forums well I'm starting to interact a bit more with people. I am also starting to try out other server like prison so you may see me around a bit more.

Knowledgeable

I have knowledge about what clients and hacks are out there. I also know how players might toggle this and hide this. Knowing this information helps catch out hackers who may try to conceal their hacks.

Dedicated

I am a dedicated person, I dedicate myself to making people happy and have a good time. If I became a moderator for this server I would strive to make the community a safer more happier place.

Fast typer

I am quite fast at typing, I also have very good spelling and very rarely make mistakes. I can type fast and literal if I'm in a hurry to do something.


Mature

For my age I am very mature, I don't swear in-game or make fun of people. I only joke around with people I know that will understand the joke.

How long can you be active on the server everyday?

I can be on the server at least 1 hour every day, I mainly play on the pvp servers eg. Op pvp and kitpvp I also play on the GTA and Infection servers. I also always have the forums page up and my email notifications on so if someone pms me or mentions me in a thread I will know straight away.

Wednesdays - 2-4 hours

Fridays - 2-5 hours
Saturdays - 2-7 hours
Sundays - 2-7 hours


How long have you been playing Mineverse?

I have been playing Mineverse approximately three years. (I have played on this Server on other accounts)


Have you ever been banned in the past?

Yes I've been banned twice, once in-game for harassment and the other time was false ban for using "anti-kb". I have never been banned on forums.


Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

Yes, but it was my friends server and had way less plugins.

Conclusion

In conclusion I think I should become a mod because I love helping the community out. I'm always chatting to players and if I see someone's typing to me I literally stop in the middle of what I'm doing to type back. I also really want to become a mod because I am always seeing players using hacked clients on the kitpvp and infection servers when there are no mods online. Then players have to report it and wait ages before a mod deals with it. I find a lot players complaining about cheaters so if I became mod my main goal would be to fix this issue.

In 2017 you have made six reports. Two of them got accepted, one got handled, one got muted and two were denied due to lack of evidence. You said you see a lot of hackers online, so why have you only reported two?
