Letting them bring items back and forth would ruin the economy on both. There's ways to do it, it'd just be a hassle. Justin made it I'm fairly sure for Crew, and then Crew didn't pay him. As said by a older member on skyblock on my thread "Just an update, Cyp approached Justin asking to buy hellblock, or endblock, I can't remember. They agreed on a price but Cyp backed out."
Hellblock premove had around 20 players on it @ any given time. Nether portals would effectively break skyblock for various reasons.
True, the bugs along with nether portal do pose a issue, however we could just create our own custom portal that teleports you to Hellblock.
I think this should happen. Right now the gamemode has 1 to 0 players on it. Maybe if we connect it to skyblock it will grow
I wouldn't get your hopes up over this anymore. Since cyp didn't create the plugin, it's not his to try and move around. He'd have to approach Geekxboy about buying the plugin, but that probably isn't going to happen, especially since an owner of another server has approached Geekxboy about buying Hellblock
This would be great. Would get more players on Hellblock and it'd be really cool to have it connected to the official Skyblock server.
This is all accurate information. In fact, Crew didn't even build the first Skyblock plugin, just the map for single player. He purchased rights for the plugin from another server and then SB plugins quickly became public domain. This is partially true. He has the plugin. He doesn't have to buy anything new and it's unlikely Geek will take legal action against him. Also, another dev can always open up the files and have a look to fix any issues that stem from a compatibility standpoint. They could also write the portal code if needed, though I agree that it's a bad idea unless you built specifically to be that way from day one. Hellblock is considered intellectual property however, and is already on more than one server. Once you own the plugin you can do whatever you want with it, including selling copies to others or modifying it. Using it on SB would be no problem at all and would not require direct contact of GeekxBoy.
My mistake, as someone who doesn't own a server or anything of the sort, I wasn't sure exactly how it worked.
It's not really a suggestion but rather a discussion regarding this idea. Fight already has an official suggestion thread about this on the skyblock forums.
It really should be moved. Plenty of skyblock players love hellblock and I don't like coming to mineverse to play on an empty hellblock server :/. Having it on skyblock just fits it better and it would get more players.
If this were to happen, I don't picture old islands staying (to be fair, hardly any islands to keep in the first place). I'd honestly just want it to be reset and re-done then grow up to it's potential.
I used to be an avid HB player until it merged with Mineverse, that ruined it. If it's fixed I'll start to play again.
