Hello Mineverse,

Edit: As of 12/26/16, we are still blacklisted and some perks may be removed or modified so it's EULA compliant. However, you can still connect to the server using Mineverse.org or SkyWars.com

Edit: As of 12/23/16, we are still blacklisted. We have already removed the perks that were not EULA compliant however Mojang has not been cooperative in helping us in what is specifically right/wrong in moving forward towards compliance and at this moment has been unresponsive on our emails. We have been doing everything we possibly can but cannot do anything on Mojang's don't care attitude and late responses. We sincerely apologize that this has happened, especially out of no where right before Christmas..

In the meantime, there is external domains that can be used to play Mineverse, such as mineverse.org and skywars.com, however we are not sure how long they will be available. You can also connect to any blacklisted server and mineverse.com/.net directly by using this modified client which we recommend: https://squidhq.com/

We have some bad news but we have no other choice but to continue with it. Mojang has stepped in and blacklisted the server with no warning. We haven't heard from them in nearly 9 months and they never gave us any warning/notification before they blacklisted us. Due to this, some in-game perks and features may have been tweaked so we can get off the blacklist.
As of 12/21/16, kits will be removed from all servers but OP PvP and KitPvP until we figure something out. Over the next few weeks or so, we will be working on a new system to bring in new perks to replace the old perks that violate the EULA (kits, feed, heal, etc). I understand that many will be upset but at this point, we have no choice but to fully comply with the EULA to prevent Mineverse from being blacklisted now and in the future.

On the positive side, the Christmas sale is live from now thru the 26th of December. All upgrades and ranks will be 50% off during this time frame.
As requested by many, Prison and OP Prison will be reset and released soon.

Edit: Does that mean no XP kits on Infection either since it gives an advantage?

Mojang own the game. They can choose at free will how others distribute and use their content.

 

The server was going against Mojang's t+c (EULA).

Finally a reset for Prison!

 

Ok the bright side, you guys haven't fully given up on Mineverse like what happened to Minetime when their server got blacklisted. I hope that you decide not to shut down the server.

I have another question, do you have an estimate when Prison will be reset or will we have to wait another month?
