OP Prison was offline for almost a week, I heard that it'll get reset. so i wanted to say that if its true then u can just shut it down, nobody at all will play it after that happens. just don't reset it, people love how it is now... .-. kthxbai.
I'm not sure if it was a "it's new, let's play it" hype, but after skyblock got reset it has become a lot more popular. So resetting OP Prison could bring a lot of new OP Prison players, as well as give the players who achieved Zeus something to do again. I joined OP Prison in January of 2015. I no-lifed, and once it came out, obtained Zeus. I had a balance of 1.3quad at one point. I had so many rares, good picks, as well as progress on plots. I believe I have over 100 days worth of hours played. I loved playing OP Prison. I became an extremely OP player. But that doesn't stop me from agreeing that a reset is needed. OP Prison came out in late 2014 (November? December?), and has never been reset. That's 2 full years of the same game-mode existing. I have lost count of how many bugs that have negatively impacted the game-mode. You could argue that things like fortune 501+ pickaxes and other items are awesome or whatever, but at Zeus I could mine 1tril in about 2-3 minutes. That's too OP in my opinion, even if it's called OP Prison. Duping has also majorly broken the server. Cyp said that it's getting reset, so I'm convinced that it's getting reset. Many players are thrilled to have an OP Prison reset, so why would you want him to just "shut it down"? From the people that I've talked to, more have wanted OP Prison to reset than not. I've heard of more Zeus' wanting a reset than not. Most of the people that are Zeus have played hours upon hours playing OP Prison. So if they want a reset, that tells you something. In my opinion, a reset is best for OP Prison.
A lot of good stuff will be gone when it gets reset, best pickaxe will probably be god and titan pickaxe (and they'll be cheap), no rares at all (Rares made it a lot more fun.) , maybe no fishing, and alot bunch of other stuff wont be there anymore. Usually there was an avg of like 10 players online and maximum was 30, most of those were people that worked hard to get what they have now from ranks or rares or whatever they got, It'll be bad to just throw all what they have done in trash, I guess? Maybe make 2 OP Prison servers, one with reset gamemodeand one with old game-mode?
The thing is, when skyblock reset, things were added, things were removed, and things were changed. So I'm guessing that OP Prison will be different. Therefore, who knows what the best pickaxe will be? Maybe they'll add a better one than Titan, maybe they won't. You can make a suggestion thread about that if you want. Either way, I don't see having a Titan as the best pickaxe so bad, because work and time should be put into accomplishing high ranks, rather than achieving it quickly with OP pickaxes. An average of 10 players is quite low. I know the server's player count has gone way down compared to a while back, but I still don't think we should have an average of 10 players on OP Prison. If they make improvements in the reset, we could have a lot more than that. Also, right before it became closed, OP Prison had a problem where the world guard was down, and you could break anything. Many mines were griefed, as well as the spawn, and probably other areas. That may have had something to do with the decision to reset it, but I don't actually know. Like it's possible that they could have just done a rollback, but OP Prison needed to be reset anyway, so it could have just pushed them even more to do it.
RIP my glitched Alpha pickaxe. I assume someone has my plot since I changed my IGN, congrats to you and I hope you enjoyed it. Also, this is one of the reasons why they are resetting it. Broken items that gave you a better boost of mining than they should of and the amount of duping that has happened.

It's because it wasn't reset properly. Trust me, the old OpPrison was awful. You won't admit it because you worked so hard on it, and you weren't willing to let it go. Other people with some actual wisdom wanted it to reset because it was far beyond repair. It had to be reset, and if you saw through your money and riches, then you'd acknowledge that.
