Revamp Mineverse

Ok here's my thoughts:

- a extremely large amount of players on this server are donors and a lot of them will not be happy with a nerf of ranks and quite possibly quit, this isn't a good idea.

- support for the hacker problem mv needs to spend some $$$ on a custom mod no cheat is getting out dated ( or whatever plugin it is I know it's not custom, if it is custom it's not good enough anyway )

- the server is laggy and player can easy go leave and play hypixel, mineplex ect

- the sexual activity part I don't personally believe is true, it is true our society is becoming more and more like this, but it would be the same on every server it's not just on mv the people who own mv ( @CypriotMerks , @Noobcrew ) can't really do much about this.

I agree about the staff part lol yeah they are active on forums but they are never in game and when they are they only play for like 30 mins to 1 hour and if you look at the mod apps they made, they most likely said 4-6 hours lmfao

 

Go to creative for about 1hr and guaranteed you will see "Sex Highschool RP - TPA",I'm sure people who are active on creative can back me up.

 

I agree with most of the points he made however, I do indeed believe /staff is currently broken because I saw like 3 mods online and they weren't on the /staff list

 

Have you ever been on MV Creative game mode for more than a minute? Also, did you ever play Kitpvp before it got revamped? Donor perks were ridiculous (that's why people bought them too). If we are gonna take away donor perks in-game, we are gonna need a good server. That means we need to update everything, so that people would be willing to donate, and/or be active in-game.

Its not exactly possible anymore. Yeah players could have had better kits, but now that Microsoft is enforcing the EULA its just better to take out donor perks all together. Give them somewhat of a cosmetic perk advantage rather than a in-game advantage. Make the donor ranks enjoyable while also making fair and appealing to the EULA. If we want to upgrade to 1.9 and past that (which i do know they have fix bugs concerning pvp, but just the way they did it caused other bugs that they are working on atm) we will need to follow the EULA.

No, it actually does. Microsoft doesn't want to lose money from people not spending money towards MC related things. The EULA prevents people from making money on their servers hosted by Mojang which is owned by Microsoft. So in a sense, every dollar MV gains is a dollar Microsoft loses.

 

We have many European mods and American mods but not to many Australian and Asian mods. At the peaks of Mineverse which are normally Saturday morning, there is an insane number of hackers for Aussie's and Asian's and not enough mods. I mean, are mods are great, they know what to do and do it. But we just don't have enough.

We need more staff to fix the problems such as hackers and disrespect. Other wise the server might fall to the hands of hackers.

It's been broken for that long, surprisingly enough. Even longer.

But yeah, Mineverse needs some big changes, pronto.

 

these are good points
we cant do it all at once ofc
we'd need to get more people first to get more staff
and that leaves us w taking steps to actually getting more people

the admins thing is a big thing to me
cyp being the only one to really do stuff can take awhile and with a server as large as mv, itd be better to have multiple people who can do what they need to do

 

I agree that we need more Aussie and Asian mods, however the problem is we rarely get apps from there and there are far less viable apps as well.
