Ability for Moderators

Can't all the mod commands be abused? And isn't abusing /ban and /mute more harmful than going invisible? And wouldn't the head mods know when their mods abuse???

I was a staff member on a different server and we had a plugin similar to what you were saying. I %100 agree that something along the lines of this should be added. It will help mods catch hackers without being noticed. For the people saying that this would be abused let me just clarify on a few things. Moderators have /god and /fly. They don't seem to be abusing this so why would they abuse a vanish plugin? Also even if they did abuse this they wouldn't be mod for very long. Mineverse recruits players well trusted and favored by the community. A lot of the people applying for moderator put their heart and souls into the server and I honestly don't think they would abuse. Being a moderator is a privilege and a important role, not something to be taken advantage of. Just my thoughts.

Combat tag can prevent this. If you are in pvp and got tagged, you won't be able to use /gm 3

I have no doubt that people are on their best behaviour when their is a moderator around.

but I would not like it when an invisble person watching everything I do.

and yes I know they would only follow you when people complain aboud you or if you act suspicius.
yet I still would not support this.
I atleast want to know when I am being watched.
I just find it annoying being watched in general.

Full support. /v is on almost all the servers. Yes it can be abused. just like /fly and /god. But we have those 2 commands. So why not /v?

Support, this could not be abused as others have said since a moderator can't just go into the server abuse it he should be out of any combat-related thing when he is in the lobby, this would help to make it easy not abused.

 

We currently do not have /v or /gm 3. We have /god and /fly.
