I'm a really big fan of movies and I'm sure a lot of you are as well, so I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can tell people and discuss our favourite movies, genres, actors/actresses, etc... Feel free to suggest movies to other people but please no spoilers to any recent movies! (spoilers do not include endings to movies that came out 10 years ago, lmao) click below to learn about mine Spoiler My favourite movies Silent Hill The Breakfast Club World War Z My Super Psycho Sweet 16 (trilogy) Horrible Bosses (1 & 2) Scream (all movies) Jaws (all movies) The Uninvited But my all time favourite movie is Hairspray. My favourite genres/types of movies Horror Mystery Thriller Musicals Movies that aren't generic/predictable Movies that make you think Anything to do with zombies, plague, viruses. Really into that sort of stuff. So, Mineverse, what are your favourites? c:
Spoiler I like all these movies, there are more, but meh. Transformers Central Intelligence White Chicks The Other Guys Batman vs Superman Avengers Genres Horror Action Comedy
My favorite movie would have to be "The Great Escape" or "The Magnificent Seven" (the old one). Pretty much anything with Steve McQueen in I love.
I love 3 types of movies: Sport movies Horror Comedy I love sports, and surely movies about them. Some examples of these are Return of the Titans, Rookie of the Year, and The Benchwarmers Also, recently I've picked up horror movies. Mainly with my friends I watched all the Insidious movies, Michael Myers and Halloween. Lastly, I love comedies. Anything funny usually is good for me. Some examples are Mom's night out(This is a really corny kids movie but I liked it) and Dumb and Dumber.
Comedy movies: Kinda upset you said recent movies since Ace ventura is the best comedy movie ever. Period. Proof: Spoiler: Video But, I'll accept your challenge of under 10 year old comedies. (Of course home alone would be the classic comedy I would first go to but ya know, that was made in 1990) -I hear suicide squad was a good comedy movie, eh I'll roll with it. -Angry birds. Considering its built on beating the crap out of pigs, its already funny while also painful to watch. Action Movies: -Thor: Ragnorok Yeah, it hasn't come out yet, but I would love to see this movie and from the comics it looks like a awesome plot. -Avengers Age of Ultron While the plot is...questionable to the comics, the movie series based on the Marvel Movie Series (yep, they got their own comic series to be based on) manages to impress many with the action it had. The plot however, not so much. -Suicide Squad While I have only managed to see trailers and such, the plot is very questionable while the action looks awesome. (Why would they base the plot on joker you may ask? Why not!?) -Kung fu panda 1 Why the 1st movie you ask? Well, because the script was focused on beating the living (er) panda out of him (phew). While the other movies did the same in a hilarious fashion, I feel like the 1st one does it correctly while also focusing on the panda as much as possible. -Sword Art Online I hear the movie is gonna be coming out maybe next year so I decided to include that as well as Thor: Ragnorok. Yeah, the anime sucked, whatever, but you cannot deny that the animation style was freakin awesome during battle scenes. Then again the plot sucked, but if they added more battle scenes I may have forgotten what in tarnations is deodorant and rated it a 10/10 anime.
Favourite Genre's - Comedy - Action - Sci-Fi - War - Drama (Mainly Police based) Favourite Movies - Zombieland - Now You See Me 1/2 - Sausage Party - Monsters Inc. - Deadpool - Leon: The Professional -Interstellar - Djano: Unchained - Inglorious Basterds - All Lord of the Rings - All Star Wars - All Star Trek - Most Disney Movies I'd love some recommendations on movies to watch, preferably based on my "Favourite Genre's".
Nah you misinterpreted what I said. :P I meant no spoilers to recent movies. But people shouldn't complain about spoilers to movies that came out years ago. A few of my favourite movies are over 10 years old, nothing wrong with that. ;p
