[USA] challenger410 Guard Application

How old are you? As of yesterday, 16! ;)

Your in-game name: challenger410 (planning on changing it to "TheRobeE" when name changes are implemented. Thought that was noteworthy).

What timezone are you in? My current time zone is Pacific Standard time, and always has been! ;D

What country do you live in? I live in the United States of 'Murica.

What languages do you speak? I currently speak English, Spanish, and ASL. I plan on attending college courses this summer, having French in the curriculum.

Why do you think you should become a Guard? Well, being a guard would have to be my first milestone of responsibility on Mineverse. I made a promise to myself, that whenever I became free I would apply for guard. I of course have read all the rules in depth, and try my best to help others even as just a common member. One thing I feel is important, that most people don't realize is that you don't HAVE to have any rank of authority to defuse a situation. You can try your best to help out issues just by hearing both sides of the story, and helping to create compromise. It never hurt to try, and I do my best to help every member of this community to have the most entertaining experience they possibly can.

How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse for about a year, and I started on the old prison. I took about a 2 month break off of all minecraft to focus on school and other commitments I made. After this I immediately came back to this wonderful server and started to focus on gamemodes like KitPvP and Skyblock. I did this because of the old prison server being shut down, but eventually I just decided to come back to prison and start over. I am addicted to the game mode and get on every single day. I plan on playing throughout the summer and again when school begins.

How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can play on average for at least 2 hours every day. I usually play a bit longer, but if for some reason I can not get on, I have minechat on my phone, and I am usually browsing through the forums.

Do you have any past experience as a Guard? I believe this is the first negative note on my guard app. I have no past experience as a guard, but instead I am admin on semi-popular on servers that usually have 30ish people on the weekends. There are 2 I was admin on, but one shut down, due to the owner going to college and having to put away his computer, and the other is still up and running. (I don't play it too often anymore because some other amazing server called Mineverse is distracting me from it, so I only ever get on it for about 30 minutes to make sure everyone is having a decent experience.).

Have you ever been banned on Mineverse? Not once have I ever been banned on mineverse. I plan on keeping my record clean for as long as I play.

Do you know the Prison Contraband items & rules? Yes of course :p There was one time when I didn't realize water buckets were added, but Pile made sure I figured that out really quick, and I removed them once I was out of jail xD She understood, and we solved the situation without anything getting out of hand.

Important things that should be covered: I understand how to moderate both forums, and in-game. I am pretty experienced with both as I have both moderated and administered servers in the past, and currently.


With that being said, please leave any comments or suggestions below. I will do my best to implement them if I feel necessary. Please be honest. I have a motto I go by which is "It is one thing to look good in front of people with power to change what you do and who you are, it is another to act good in front of those who can not. True character is shown when the opinions of those unheard are spoken". I could make a pretty bad ess story about who made that quote, but it was mine, and it is an important one to follow. Honest opinions, good or bad, are what I would appreciate. Point out the things I do wrong so I can do my best to correct them.
