Hello everyone, As most of you know, the amount of hackers is getting out of control. We keep getting them banned, but they come back after a month. So here is my suggestion: • 1st hacking offence: Perm Ban Serverwide, with a chance to appeal. • 2nd offence: Perm Ban Serverwide, without chance of appealing. Be sure of voting in the Poll or ratings, so I can check easily the number of Supports/Neutrals/No Support. If you vote Neutral / No Support, be sure of indicating why. ~ AwkwardWatermelon_
What about the people whom were falsely banned for "hacks" and couldn't prove their innocence, like I. No support.
As said above, If your 2nd ban GENUINELY WAS FALSE then you would be perm banned from the entire server without the ability to appeal. Wouldn't bother me because I hardly play any gamemodes that hacking would benefit me on therefore I'll never be banned for it. The thing that nobody seems to realise is that most of the accounts that are used to hack are throw away accounts that are only used once and then probably never log onto this server again. We need to find a way to prevent these hackers from actually JOINING the server.
Then again, you are a staff member... in fact, a senior one... Would you even hack in the first place? Although, i find that perm banning on the first time is too harsh. The first ban should be a temp ban and if the player is really innocent, his ban should be lifted. The 2nd ban if the player is really hacking and continues to commit the offence and this should then be the permanent ban that i think you are talking about
A lot of people commit to their "innocence" and say they don't hack, when even at times it might be blatant. It would be fair.
There is a new anti-cheat on OP PvP right now. This anti cheat will be used on other game modes soon as well. I have been banned like 5 times for hacking. I record every game which has let me get unbanned. Not everyone is able to do this. No support
