To get straight to the point, the way I earn money in factions is by wart farm. The warts are harvested by a water system and they drop into a collecting area (since hoppers don't work). I grab them and put the excess in chests for selling. Then I replant. This normally isn't such a problem... with the old clearlag. With that, I could wait until it said "Clearlag in 60 seconds!" (forgot exact wording). Then clearlag would come sweep the server and I would use the farm safe knowing my warts couldn't be cleared for another - well, however long the cooldown is. But the new clearlag... it has no warning. It doesn't even say "items cleared" which I could at least use. I just have to take a gamble and pray my warts aren't cleared this time, and sometimes I rush through the water to grab a few stacks just in case. They haven't been cleared yet, but I hope they never will. I don't see the point of taking away the old clearlag, and I don't see the harm in bringing it back. I can imagine scenarios for other people as well with this new method - imagine pvping and killing someone, then suddenly - "Hey, where'd my loot go?". Please bring clearlag back!
