So recently I've seen loads of people saying things like
'Isn't MV on the EULA blacklist?'
    and
    'Make MV EULA compliant!'
    and
    'That wouldn't be EULA compliant...'

Im curious to know what 'EULA' is and what it means to be compliant with it or not.

EULA is Mojang's End User License Agreement.
From what I've heard (I haven't really looked at all the threads), server owners have to make it so it's not pay2win. So people are worried about Mineverse going down and what will happen, because if everyone gets the same stuff no one will want to donate because they won't get anything special.

I know, but I would prefer to hear from people from our community, because it's
    A) Easier to understand
    B) I can ask people questions.
    C) So I can find out why it is relevant to MV exclusively.

The EULA doesn't just have an effect on MV, it is supposed to be applied throughout all Minecraft servers.

The EULA pretty much just restricts servers from selling items that offer an advantage, in-game currency, exclusive gameplay features, etc. for real-world cash. We are permitted to sell items that are purely cosmetic; such as pets, hats, particle effects, and things along those lines. Mojang wants all players to be presented with the same gameplay features, whether they donate or not.

So what does it mean if we're on the 'blacklist'

The domain, mineverse.com, is blacklisted—no one is able to connect to the game server.

You can't do anything outside of the game to receive in game items unless everyone online receives the item or what ever you're selling. Anything you have already bought is EULA compliant. The main things you can't do is buy items/commands or use voting websites.

Can't pay money to servers in exchange for things that give the player an advantage over others. Go read the actual document, it's pretty cool.
