Before you tell me to find others discussions with this or whatever, I cba. Anyways - What the happened to the server, it used to be brilliant and was one of the best servers out there and now its dead. Like completely - the most you have on one server at a time is like 15 people and most of them are alts or afk. All I remember is playing on an amazing server, coming back from holiday a month later and it was gone.
It has been more of a gradual loss of players over the last 2 years or so. It was more dramatic when stuff got reset and kits got removed though.

I know. This server was always 2nd on the voter list back in 2014-15. I remember one month we actually beat Mineplex. But during the peak the owners kind of just left the server to fend for itself. It started to die back about this time in 2016. Bugs weren't getting fixed. Slab glitch on OP has been there for like 4 years now. New bugs started happening (look at OP, you can't even gapple half the time) Gamemodes were reset and had most of their features removed and ridden with new bugs. Op Factions was a big one for this removed half of the content and replaced it with new content that was broken and lagged out the server. After the reset, we had about 12ish TPS due to thousands upon thousands of bosses spawning in. Added new servers like Hellblock that nobody played. They went EULA friendly, stupidest idea ever. All that did was make us lose players even faster. There is a very bad anti-cheat that makes hacking even better as all it does is make legit players even worse. The ranks are just awful titan is $150 more than GOD and they're almost the exact same, just a few extra homes and sharp 30's, that's it. The staff team aren't helpful, 99% of questions get answered by the community but half the new players don't trust them since we can be a little toxic. Staff team ignore players asking for help. I've been online a few hours or so over the past month and only twice staff responded to people asking for help out of hundreds of requests. Game modes with no active staff at all. All of the staff are either NA or AU, there have been very little EU mods over the lifespan of Mineverse. I do believe that we went 2-3 staff promote cycles with no EU mods promoted. I also believe there was a short time when there were no EU mods at all. Factions/Op Factions had no staff online at all, the staff team would only log if someone was reported on forums, some staff didn't log on in so long you couldn't even /seen them. The staff member that was active was xSoulHero who'd clock in about 10 hours per week on OP Facs. The owners ignored the ideas from players who were very active on game modes and chose to implement features suggested by people who never played the game modes and didn't even check them out after their suggestions were accepted. These just made the current players quit. This happened time and time again on the Factions servers. Game modes were reset too fast/late, OP Factions had been needing a reset for about a year before we actually got one. By the time it was reset all the active player base had quit never to return.
Yup, and may I also add that they add useless stuff that don't help the server, like discord features and forum backgrounds. I'm glad what the devs do for the server, but their higher ups have their priorities mixed up, sorry.
I remember when Skywars games would fill up in 10 seconds. Now nobody plays it. I guess other games like Fortnite and other games on Mc came out and people left Mineverse.
The staff stopped caring so people left. Mineverse died because even in its prime, it's owners didn't care about it. Therefor, they added lazy mods that did nothing. No updates were made, the hackers and cheaters a general scum weren't banned/muted because staff sucked. I use to love mineverse but it became terrible lat 2015-2016 so i quit, pretty much same with everyone else.
