Staff inactivity

Oml, so whenever I play mineverse and try to pvp theres always hackers... Theres never any staff on!!!! Like oml..., staff can you please get on theres hackers every where, then there is everyone complaining, then there is people fighting with each other that need to be warned for avoiding filter, disrespect, and a bunch of other stuff!!!! Like staff be active oml im getting TRIGGERED TRIGGERED TRIGGERED the staff need to be active omggggggggg.

 

Stop disliking it for hate uncle... you did it on purpose for hatred and that's abusing the rating system.

 

I go through the same thing as you do, but I report hackers, spammers, etc

/Staff is broken. when a staff member is on it doesn't say on /Staff because /Staff is glitching.

 

First of all, these threads are extremely rude and disrespectful. We try our best. I get on in my free time and devote my time to this server to help people and try to make the server better. Yes, I will admit that my activity has gone down, but that is due to life circumstances. We do have lives outside of mineverse. We are allowed to have lives. When I am online I am constantly getting messages about people needing help with forums, people asking questions, people demanding that I tp to them immediately, people demanding that I go to another game mode, all while I am watching someone else and monitoring the chat. So, instead of ranting about this, try to consider that we are very busy. We try our best, I promise no staff is like hm no not gonna ban the hackers. We are only human, we are only one person. You can always report someone who is hacking or spamming the chat or being rude or cursing in the chat, but ranting about how mods 'never do anything' will get you nowhere.

 

disagree. there are literally 38 mods, barely are on everyday. too many inactive mods.

First of all, there is this lovely thing called school. I know I am in it for most of the waking day. I cannot get in-game during class. I have to focus on that, as do many other mods. Then there is another thing, homework. School is definitely more important than Mineverse, and the head-mods see it that way too. We are allowed to have times where we go on inactivity. There is this other thing called family. Sometimes people go on vacation, or their family doesn't want them on the computer all night, or they volunteer (something I do a few days of the week). Some mods also have to work. Just because we are not on 24/7 does not mean that they are inactive. I am not on 24/7, but I do my job here. I do my part. When I can I handle reports, I go in-game, but I, along with multiple other mods, cannot be in-game every waking minute. You also cannot see everything we do. You cannot see everyone we ban. You cannot see everyone we warn. You cannot see everything we handle and take care of. So, before you judge try to think about what you are saying.

 

Promote mods that are out of school. Simple. lol.

 

Why is this still open.. if I was a mod I would have closed it, this thread is so rude and hurtful.

 

It is not up to you to decide whether the members of our staff are active or not. That is up to the administration, and if they decide we are inactive then we will be confronted. Almost all of Mineverse's staff members have to go to school for most of the day, do sports, hang out with friends/family, come home, do homework, and then with what little free time is left we get to spend moderating the server. I believe there's only 2 of us who are not in school, and that is the head-moderators who both have children and tasks they have to take care of daily.

Of course, there is always room for improvement, and I myself need to work on my activity as well. I will be closing this thread as it is uneccesary, please leave the judging of our activity to the managers of the staff team.
