Spawner Help

I purchased a spawner from someone, and then bought a mooshroom spawn egg to make it spawn mooshrooms. After right clicking the spawner with the egg, nothing happened, but the egg disappeared.


(May still be processing.)


Sorry for the noise, the recorder sucks (obviously), and my editor wouldn't cooperate with me. I don't usually record with Hypercam, but my laptop broke so I'm stuck with this computer. :p

 

Yeah, I had the same problem with sheep and blaze eggs.

 

that only works if your opped on the server or in creative

Unfortunately the behavior for spawners has been...sporadic lately. I have been able to use and not able to use eggs with only a few days in between. I have posted up a report in the bugs/glitch sections here on the forums for the Admins to review, but do not know its status or ETA of a fix at this time.

Until then, attempt using eggs at your own risk I am afraid. If there are any questions I can assist with, please let me know.

Anyway, I watched a video on spawners and 1.8. Makes me sad how easily he clicks a spawner with all the eggs and they change. Super sadface.
