Spawn Eggs not Working

I purchased a $30,000 sheep spawn egg on skyblock today.. and it disappeared when i right clicked on my spawner with it. thats alot of money to loose. I hope something can be done about it

 

@melgrath , do you know anything about what's going on with spawn eggs?

This is unfortunately a known sporadic issue. I have already reported it as a bug/glitch, but unfortunately this issue needs an admin to resolve. As a Moderator I am afraid there is not much I can do.

Apologies for any inconvenience and should I receive any updates to the status of this issue, I will pass it along.

If you have any proof that you spent $30,000 p the sheep spawner, and that it disappeared, you might be able to get your money back, or even another sheep spawner.

 

Almost three weeks, now, and I can't get my pig spawn eggs to spawn pigs.
Who knows how many days/weeks that is in Minecraft time.
C'mon, admins/owner(s), chime in! Don't be silent. Tell us the truth, be informative.
Tell/let the Mods inform us so we don't waste so much time and effort, which is what Minecraft is all about.
After all, recently being voted #1/2. The celebration can't last that long.
If it's a donation thing TELL US!
If it's a Mojang thing TELL US!
If it's a anti-griefing thing TELL US!
If it's a server related thing TELL US!
I'm sure silence has killed at least one server in the Minecraft Universe.

There is a 'News and Announcements' thread on the forum. There is a possibility of a 'sticky' that could be updated(whenever they get the chance) with the most up-to-date info on the various glitches and snags that are constant and prevalent in the Minecraft experience. A few sentences could even relieve in-game-chat of the burden of handling complaints about what we can't do, or what's been disabled for a certain reason. The frustration of building towards a particular goal and then come to find out it's been made impossible for necessary unnamed reasons tops my list.
