Spambots

I woke up to 4-5 spambot threads that were locked and the user banned, but still open with the advertising link for all to see.
Since when is that a thing?

"5. Major Offenses

• Hacking refers to the act of gaining unauthorized access to another members account, computer or other intellectual property . Please note we understand things such as gaming accounts technically do not belong to the user however when enforcing this rule it is seen as theirs.
• Ban evading refers to the act of creating another forum account or using an alternate minecraft account when you have one already banned.
• Account Sharing refers to the act of allowing other users to use your account. This is an offense for both the user allowing it and the user doing it. If access is granted for special reasoning by an administrator the user must not send any messages from that account nor create any content.
• Multiple accounts are not allowed by any user. (Exception: Creation of a ban appeal account is allowed as long as the account is strictly used for the ban appeal.) However, if you have other family members wishing to create a forum account please do so and contact a staff member immediately. Please note that if a family member becomes permanently banned, all family members are then banned until the issue is resolved.
• Posting users personal information. Mineverse recognizes the majority of users real life information is available online however making it available on mineverse is an offense. Depending on the severity of the situation this can be worthy of a permanent ban.
• Advertising refers to posting an external link. External links are allowed within reason, sites such as personal sites or a friends site is advertising. Furthermore, logos or images or mentions about such website even without an actual link is deemed advertising. This includes posts, topic titles, avatars, signatures, topics and private messages (if done for direct advertisement purposes)."

Nothing about this says that the thread will be altered nor deleted but states the type of infraction that will apply. There is no reason to delete the thread. If for some reason this user were to appeal their ban, Evidence would need to be on file for us to continue with the appeal. If it is deleted then there is no evidence. If you want to click on the link then that is on you. The thread has been locked and handled clearly stating it is a spambot.

 

No one is gonna go to a website for hormonal boosts :> that's the last one I seen, they get worse every day.

Yes.
But according to the "Head Mod" they really don't matter. The bots get banned and if you children decide to click the links they provide and the staff team fail to delete; that's your guys problem. It's not MV's problem that you are children. lmfao

On another note, I messaged Noobcrew about this today on Skype.

 

Oh well. Scofu has a point there, thou at Skyblock we were told to ban, delete and archive. Pretty sure that it affects MV too.

 

His point is that he doesn't care about the children that have accounts here.
It's there faults for being children that click links.

Rules were changed since you were banned to more reflect skyblock and lets just say the rules suck.
