Hey i am Simon and i got an idea for skyblock. I am a lot on skyblock, an average of 6 hours a day i think. But i never see a MOD unless people are having problems and called a mod. This is why i am suggesting that it might be a good idea to have a mod on every server. Because everybody or almost everybody knows me and i am always helping because i like help (everytime i am on i help atleast a few people). This is why I would like to be (if you think this is a good idea) the servermod of skyblock. Ty for reading this.❤ Simon. Feel free to leave a comment.
We moderators do not have the same timezones and it's near impossible for all 20+ of us to be online at the same time. It would be nice if you can elaborate more on what you mean by 'having a mod on every server'.
If there are some more mods which only play one specivic game (like me only playing skyblock) and if they are online at the start and latest point of their day (like i am online always unless i am at school) people know to who they have to ask help and know ow [name] is always helping and always playing this game, he will help with our problems. This part i added later* I know mods have different timezones and i haven't seen any mod of my country yet, maybe i can be the first then, there are plenty of dutch people on the server so i can comunicate well with them if they can't talk english, and i already play this server for 2 years.
I kinda think having mods dedicated to specific servers would be useful, but I guess there must have been some reason cyp made every mod global. I do see mods on skyblock, though not as often on other gamemodes but I think it would be best for them to stay global. Idk what I just wrote sorry cx

The moderators can't be online 24/7 I'm about to use the same old excuse I hated hearing, but they have a life. Yes, they signed up to help people, but where will playing a block game help you in life? They were made all global to keep things flowing; if you make it back to two game modes, reports could be there for days - as well as ban appeals. No support
Nice suggestion, but all mods are global. This helps them freely move from server to server to help others.
Yeah true, because they usually hop servers. But it is nearly impossible for all mods to be online. but still no support
Mineverse at one point was like this— where there were mods assigned to certain game modes. I understand why people think this would be better, but it really isn't. If someone makes a report on skyblock for instance, that report would be handled extremely slower due to the fact that you'd have to wait for a skyblock mod to see it. Also, we have a '/staff' command which would, upon this, be useless. Players will constantly follow a mod to a different game mode in seek of help— only to find out that they can't be helped (because mods would only be assigned to a certain game mode). No support.
While it would be nice for the players to have a Moderator on at all times, I just don't see this happening. When we were restricted to 2 game modes, it made it extremely hard to assist players on other game modes. I see two issues in promoting people who are only dedicated to a certain game mode (using Skyblock as an example): They are only promoted as a Skyblock Moderator and will have to dismiss players who call on them to come and assist them in different game mode. They are promoted to Global as a dedicated Skyblock player but won't be on Skyblock all the time because they will be called on to go to different game modes. If you want to apply to be a Moderator, know that you will not be spending all of your time on Skyblock.
Mods can't be on every server all the time. I do play skyblock regularly and I get on whenever I can. Sorry this isn't enough for you.
