Skyblock Guide by Teeeb

This is a detailed guide I decided to make because all of the other Skyblock guides were ancient and outdated, :>.

How do I start?
Well first make sure you don't already have an existing island because you wouldn't want to delete it.. If you're a new player or you want to start over simply type /newisland.

Your island is gonna look like this. You'll have one chest, lots of dirt, a couple of sand blocks (underneath), and a single oak tree.

If you look inside the chest you'll find these items.

I don't really recommend throwing any of these away because then you won't be able to grow food or make a shelter.
The first thing you should do is make a cobble generator.

Warning: If you make it how I did, every time you do /home you'll fall into the lava and burn (unless you quickly jump into the water, so to prevent burning, you can do exactly what I did in the video, but do it away from your spawn point)
*Also, always save your bucket because it's pretty hard to find another one*

Sooo by now you're probably wondering why you have only one bone and one tree.. Don't worry though, because there are kits.
Type /kit bone for 5 bones (30 minute cooldown) & /kit sapling for 3 oak saplings (20 minute cooldown).

*The other items in the chest such as the sugar cane, seeds, mushrooms, and cactus.. I would worry about those later, because it's up to you how you choose to design your island*

How am I supposed to survive off of one melon?
Good news. If you go to /spawn and turn around there's a mob farm full of pigs that you can kill. You will only get raw meat unless you have a fire aspect sword or you cook them later. (I do free enchants so if you need a fire aspect sword or anything else enchanted just /msg Teeeb in-game)


How can I add other people to my Island?
Before you decide to add anyone to your island, make sure it is someone that you can trust.
Type /coop invite [player] to invite someone to your island.


How do I buy stuff?
You can buy stuff through a lot of different ways.

Auction House
To view the auction house simply type /ah.
You can buy and sell items.
If you want to sell an item type /ah sell [price]
*If you're holding a stack of items it will sell the whole stack, so if you're trying to sell one item, make sure you're only holding one item*


Using /shop

Click the oak block for various types of woods, stones, and saplings.
Click the diamond pickaxe for armor, swords and ores.
Click the cooked mutton for food (also includes golden apples).
Click the wool block for colored wool, glass, and clay.
Click the bone for hostile and friendly mob drops.
Click the iron hoe for farming supplies.
Click the spawner for various mob spawners for both hostile and friendly creatures.
Click the lava bucket for miscellaneous items.

Mob Arena
You can join the mob arena using /ma j with an empty inventory.
There are a lot of different classes that you can choose from.
Only donors have access to the 'donor class'.
- Survive a round in the mob arena and you'll win a few items such as random blocks, saplings, ores, or farming supplies.
- The longer you survive, the more rewards you get.
- Once you die your rewards will automatically appear in your inventory.
If you wish to leave the mob arena you can type /ma leave.

Player Shops
There are a lot of different shops that you can visit.
Most of the time people advertise their shop in the chat.
Remember you can visit any island using /visit [player name]
Some of these shops will allow you to buy or sell items.
Usually you right click to buy, and left click to sell, if it's what the chest is for.
If you see a S on the third row of the sign it means it is a sell shop.
If you see a B on the third row of the sign it means it is a buy shop.

Can I make my own shop?
If you type ./warp shop, it will teleport to you to a tutorial island on how to make your own shop.
*If you want to make a good profit, compare other shops prices and the server shops prices*

How can I private my chests?
If you want to private a chest, just place a sign on the front of the chest.
It will automatically do this


How do I add people to the chest?
Remember if you add someone to this chest, they will have access to it. Don't add people you don't trust.

When it asks for a line number it means which space on the sign.

Can I add words to the chest?
If you're bad at organizing like me and you want to sort your stuff you can add words to the lines below your name.
If you watch the video above, instead of typing Teeeb, I would type "Armor" and the word Armor would appear. This trick is good for organizing.

Can I make the words colored?
Only MVP + can make the words colored, but basically if you wanted to color the words.. you type this.
/lockette 3 &dArmor
(&d is the color code for light purple) (ANY of the colors work!!)

Important Tips!!
Do not leave your animals in an open pen. ANYONE can kill them. It's best to place them in a closed pen and make sure you always have the only opening closed.

Don't throw away your sand or dirt. You'll need it for farming.

When voting for Skyblock Rewards on vote.mineverse.com .. You have to be on Skyblock to get your rewards. If you're on Prison or another game, you won't get your rewards.

You can do /warp crates to use the crates.
