I don't understand why this causes people to say "RIP"? Whats so bad about the UK leaving EU?

The reason why people are sayi g "RIP UK" is because this is going to have serious consequences on the whole world.
Things like in under 2 days the stock markets havr crashed. From the Australian stock market, cost to $54b has been wiped out. Thats a huge amount. Theres been -3% changed. Its only meant to changed by -0.01% not 3%.

Not only stock markets around the world crashing, but the British Pound has lost value and other dollars like the Euro.
Effectively Britian is heading into a Recession.

And lets not forget about the Xenophobia and Immigration fears in Britian and around the world right now.

 

And thats the main issue. The US has UK's back. But I'm not going to go into that as it will start an arguement

That's not the issue at all. The issue was that the UK was being screwed over by the corrupted, and failed "EU."

The EU itself is a blight to democracy.

 

My uncle's architecture business has closed down because of this. Many people have lost thier jobs and many people's businesses' will suffer.

 

And US is not just as corrupt or even more than the EU?

well quite a lot of the people who were in the leave camp were racist pensioners so they won't be around for long and their kids are hopefully grown up enough to have their own opinions ;) I personally think we just need to deal with the fact it's happened and work on what positives might come of this

I said, that a fair amount of people who voted leave were old and racist. Or just racist. I've seen many people irl and on facebook expressing their racist/uneducated views.
