Remove bukkit:me

For alot of those players that play on op factions you know there allot of spamming and advertising. The advertisers are using this command to spam the server non stop and i suggest we remove this command. Ive seen advertisers using this at least every time i come on and im on allot of the time. I really think this would solve alot of problems on op fac and other server. Im not to sure how much other servers get spammed so plz say in the comments if /bukkit:me shud be removed server wide

That's takes a while and by the time you have, they have spammed chat one thousand times over. Unfortunately due to the quality of our staff we get these 24/7 on OPFactions and nothing gets done and servers are advertised.

A command spam plugin would usually just kick players and temporarily disallow them from joining, but this server has enough issues as is and anything that is kicking/banning a player would have to be trusted, most aren't and I don't foresee one being added. This issue could be solved a lot easier by just adding "- -essentials.bukkit:me" to the default group.

 

Cyp has tried to remove this time and time again.
I don't think it will ever be done.

I tried doing /bukkit:me , and it said "/bukkit:me is not allowed in this area."

There also is something called /minecraft:me , it works.

 

It's really not that big of deal, and it's actually kinda useful sometimes. For example I was wrongly muted by console, and people wanted to know why I wasn't responding

Mutes from mods/console don't allow you to /msg

 

I think it is apart of the bukkit perms or something. I think this command is stuck, but I'm not sure. Oh well :>
